Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G has debuted in India. It's a relatively budget smartphone, but with 5G and a rather interesting design.
Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G stands out with its unusually styled, glossy camera bezel. Unfortunately, this is a budget smartphone, so most of the bezel is taken up by "fillers" like an LED flash and an AI sensor, and there's only one camera – a 50-megapixel one. The screen isn't particularly appealing either, with a 6.75-inch LCD display, only HD+ resolution, and—for good measure—a 120 Hz refresh rate. The punch-hole display houses an 8-megapixel selfie camera, while a minijack lurks at the bottom. The smartphone's heart is a Unisoc T8200 processor, supported by 6GB of RAM and 128GB of virtual RAM, while the operating system runs a bare-bones version of Android 16. However, the smartphone has a capacious 6000mAh battery and IP64 waterproofing. The device measures 168.29 x 77.64 x 8.68 mm and weighs 207 g. The price is 16,000 rupees, or $170. Two colour options are available.
