Vivo's much-anticipated mid-range smartphone has officially launched. Vivo T5 5G, somewhat reminiscent of Pixel phones in its design, boasts a decent screen and a relatively large battery.
Vivo T5 5G, though only 7.99 mm thick, houses a 7050 mAh battery, expected to last for at least 5 years. The smartphone also boasts a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with curved sides, 1.5K resolution, and a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen reaches 2000 nits of peak brightness and is HDR10+ certified, as well as SGS Low Blue Light, SGS Low Flicker, and SGS Five-Star Sunlight Display—meaning it should be easy on the eyes. The Vivo T5 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo processor, which, according to the manufacturer, scores over 1.2 million points in the AnTuTu benchmark. Android 16 with OriginOS 6, with a promise of three version updates and 5 years of security support, serves as the operating system.

The camera section features a 32-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 main camera with optical image stabilization and an f/1.79 aperture, complemented by an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a ring LED flash. The smartphone can record in 4K and is available in two color variants and the following memory options:
