Oppo A7 Pro—a compact version of the large-battery Oppo A7 Pro Max—is set to go on sale on September 11.

We recently saw a photo of the Oppo A7 Pro in a certification filing, and now the manufacturer's website and TENAA certification confirm its design and reveal specification details. The new smartphone differs from the Oppo A7 Pro Max primarily in terms of battery and dimensions; it features a 6.57-inch OLED display with 1080p resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate, along with an 8,000 mAh battery supporting 45W charging.

Unlike the Max model, which uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processor, Oppo A7 Pro is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max chip, as well as LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. High-level durability is confirmed by IP69K certification, and the device runs on ColorOS 16 (based on Android 16), featuring an AI-powered scam detection function for video calls.

Despite the redesigned camera module, the same camera setup is used: 50 MP on the back and 8 MP on the front.

The Oppo A7 Pro will go on sale in China on September 11, available in three color variants: "Riding the Waves" (blue), "Every Step Blossoms" (pink), and "Desert Brown" (brown). Two memory configurations will be offered, featuring either 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. Prices for the Oppo A7 Pro variants are 2,199 yuan (approx. 330 USD) and 2,499 yuan (approx. 375 USD), depending on the amount of RAM.
