Shortly after the launch of the Samsung Galaxy A08 in the Balkans, a model positioned one step higher — Samsung Galaxy A18 — has appeared in France. In reality, it isn't much better...

Samsung Galaxy A18 surpasses its cheaper sibling, Galaxy A08, in terms of its display, featuring a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate. It also boasts more interesting cameras. The main camera still offers 50 megapixels and an f/1.8 aperture, but it is accompanied by a 5-megapixel wide-angle camera (f/2.4) and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The selfie camera is also superior, offering 13 megapixels. However, the Galaxy A18 falls short of the cheaper model when it comes to power, as it has a 5,000 mAh battery rather than a 6,000 mAh one. The battery charges at 25 W.

Samsung Galaxy A18 is powered by the Exynos 1610 processor, supported by LPDDR5 RAM. Interestingly, the cheaper model features LPDDR5X... Memory configurations start at 4+128 GB, with the option to virtually expand the RAM and use a microSD card for storage. The phone runs Android 17 with the One UI 9 interface; it is set to receive six system updates, along with security patches for six years. The casing comes in three colors and features an IP64 rating—just like the cheaper model. The Samsung Galaxy A18 is available in France for 179 euros. There is currently no information regarding other memory configurations.
