A third, ultra-budget model has just joined the Oppo K14 5G lineup. What does the Oppo K14 Lite have to offer, and where does it fail to impress?
Just unveiled in the manufacturer's official Indian store, the Oppo K14 Lite looks modest at first glance; while the back attempts to mimic an iPhone, the front reveals its budget nature with a notch-based selfie camera. Photography duties are handled by a modest 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front-facing one, yet the display matches the other Oppo K14 models: a 6.75-inch LCD with a 720 x 1570 px resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The Unisoc T7250 processor is far more modest, offering only 4G connectivity. A definite strong point is the 7000 mAh battery, though charging is limited to 15 W.
The Oppo K14 Lite is available in two colors—Feather Purple (light purple) and Stone Brown (dark brown)—and comes in a single memory configuration: 4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64 GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage, with the option to expand storage via a microSD card.
A 3.5mm headphone jack and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity are also available, and the operating system is Android 16 with the ColorOS 16 interface. The price of the Oppo K14 Lite is 16,999 rupees, which translates to approximately $178 or €153.
