It seemed that the Motorola Signature 27 would be unveiled during the Snapdragon Summit... Yet, that’s not exactly how things played out!
Instead of a formal launch event, the manufacturer simply announced the model by going live with a dedicated webpage. However, you won't find full specifications there. We see essentially what was revealed earlier—teasers highlighting a 200-megapixel camera, the powerful new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processor, and speakers developed in collaboration with Bang & Olufsen. A bit more detail was provided regarding the cameras: the aforementioned 200-megapixel unit works alongside a telephoto lens offering up to 100x zoom (which is, of course, digital). The main camera features a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA L910 sensor with a 1/1.28-inch format. During the Qualcomm event presentation, the company also announced 7 years of system support for the smartphone and mentioned a six-antenna setup designed to improve connectivity.
It was also revealed that the Motorola Signature 27 will feature the proprietary ArcticMesh cooling system. The vapor chamber utilizes a special thermal gel, liquid metal, and a specialized pure copper mesh. According to the manufacturer, heat dissipation efficiency has increased by as much as 40% compared to the previous generation of such solutions. The Motorola Signature 27 will also introduce a new design style for the brand's smartphones and will be available in two colours. The question remains: when? For now, we only know it is coming "later this year"—no specific date has been set.
