Apple popularized orange smartphones a year ago, and now here is another one in that color: the Vivo V80. What does it offer besides its colour?
Let's give credit where it's due right off the bat: the Vivo V80 doesn't have to be orange; it also comes in black or turquoise. Another feature it shares with the iPhone is a rather large camera island, housing a 50-megapixel Sony LYT 700V main camera with CIPA 4.5-grade optical image stabilization and an f/1.8 aperture. Optical image stabilization is also present on the next camera—a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 telephoto lens with 3x zoom and an f/2.65 aperture—while the rear camera trio is rounded out by an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens (f/2.2). On the front, there is another 50-megapixel camera featuring a wide 92-degree field of view, autofocus, and an f/2.0 aperture. This camera is housed in a punch-hole within a 6.59-inch AMOLED display boasting a resolution of 2750x1260 pixels, a 144 Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 5000 nits.
