In recent days, we have been writing a lot about phones from Japan. This is because all the operators there now refresh their offer by launching interesting, exotic models. Today we will show you a true gem: Sharp Aquos Crystal 2. It's a phone with an incredible styling.
Fashion for frameless smartphones is in full swing, but presenting Aquos Crystal 2 Sharp probably broke all records. This phone has virtually no screen bezels. Using the S-PureLED screen it was managed not only to reduce the frame along its long sides, but at the same also removed the frame at the top. As we look at the front of Crystal 2, we can see virtually the same screen. The only element not constituting the display surface is a narrow strip at the bottom. There was placed, among others, light and proximity sensors and a front 2.1-megapixel webcam, which did not have a chance to be placed above the screen. Interestingly there was also solved the earpiece - using bone conduction here, which allowed for the elimination of traditional speaker that would force widening the frame at the top. The phone changes the sound to vibrate, which goes through the skull bone directly to the inner ear. Besides the good looks, this provides excellent audio quality even in noisy environments.

Sharp Aquos Crystal 2 impresses with the appearance, but its technical bparameters rather place it on the middle shelf. The screen has a diagonal of 5.2 inches, but its resolution is "only" 720p. You already know that the front cam is rather flimsy - but the main one does not knock – it has only 8-megapixels. The 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor also does not cause a heart beating more lively, but fortunately it is supported by 2 GB of RAM, so the smooth operation should remain decent. They did not forget about connectivity modules LTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n 2.4 GHz, or NFC-enabled mobile payments. The phone supports HD Voice technology and has a battery with a capacity of 2030 mAh. There are also elements specific to mobiles from Japan: waterproofness or 1-seg television receiver, a curiosity is also a possibility to wake the screen by taking the smartphone in your hand. There was also taken care, of course, for the screen "to recognize" accidental touches at the edges and to easily distinguish them from intentional tremors. The phone – as for this screen diagonal - retains a compact form. Its dimensions are 136 x 71 x 11 mm, and weight - 154 g.
