The appearance, similar to the 4s, 5s, and SE, personally attracted me very much. I switched from the 8 to the 13 and I am very satisfied. The phone lasts the whole day with continuous use (I listen and watch a lot on the phone). The camera takes very nice photos, which is probably what I am most pleased with, and of course, there is 4K recording. The fact that there is no period on the keyboard is a bit surprising, although pressing the space bar twice is sufficient. As a closed system, iOS will attract some and discourage others - for me, it is the best system. The price is high, although it is the same when compared to the Samsung Galaxy S22, so there is no reason to complain; after all, it is a small portable computer. I highly recommend this phone, but for people switching from Android, I suggest testing the phone for at least a week. Some, like me, may fall in love with this system, while others may not feel comfortable using it.

I bought an iPhone 13 two days ago and so far I am very satisfied. The phone takes very nice photos, is well-made, and is very easy and fast to use. It also has many interesting features that are not available in Android. It is true that some system applications, such as the calculator, which lacks an arrow to delete individual digits, could be improved, but I think that overall the phone is beyond reproach. I resisted switching from Android to iOS for a long time, but those in my immediate circle who own Apple smartphones convinced me that an iPhone is primarily about RELIABILITY, and that was the main thing that tempted me. I am not a proponent of spending large amounts of money on equipment "because it is aesthetically pleasing," but it has happened; for about two weeks now, I have been the (un)fortunate owner of this highly desired luxury attribute. I will start with the positive aspects, as there are few: - it looks nice - it fits well in the hand ...and that would be all (but is it worth paying nearly 5000zł for that?) Negative aspects: - the battery is a complete failure; today, a phone is not used only for making 2-3 calls a day and writing a few text messages, it is our entire management center replacing a computer, audio player, calendar, email, encyclopedia, supermarket, and many others. If the battery from 7:00 lasts at most until 15:00, then someone at Apple should seriously consider their technological progress. - writing text messages (forget about correct Polish), no logical word suggestions, no learning of your writing style, and I will not even mention punctuation (these simple solutions have been functioning in Android for a long time). If you want to write a coherent message, you really have to spend a longer moment to correct and refine it. - the virtual back button in individual applications. In Android, it is located at the bottom of the screen, sometimes on the left, sometimes on the right, but you are able to operate it with your thumb using one hand. In the iPhone, where is this button located? In the upper left corner!, which means your thumb must be at least 12 cm long for you to be able to take "one step back" using one hand. - the ANTENNA is another failure; in a provincial capital in the city center, signal strength at two bars?? Android in the same place shows full signal. I have not had the opportunity to check outside the city yet, but I do not anticipate any positive results. - Face ID is an absurdity on Apple's part. Authorization of, among others, bank transactions based on facial features? In times when some people wear masks, not to mention situations where it is dim. But the peak of absurdity is a certain situation where twin friends (not that similar at all, one of them has had quite a few aesthetic injections;) unlock each other's phones with their faces. I am just waiting for someone to finally initiate a lawsuit against Apple for the leak of (un)secured data. A fingerprint is reliable and unique, but that is already present in Android, so Apple will not lower itself to their level. - DUAL SIM. Two matters. First, if you use two physical SIM cards, you will not be able to use them on an iPhone. You must replace one with an eSim. Well, someone might say, it is the year 2023, move with progress... okay, but there are situations when I personally prefer not to take a phone worth 5.000, for example, a kayaking trip (I once lost one in the water;). And in such a situation, you cannot use a virtual card in a reliable old phone that does not support eSim technology. The second matter regarding eSim is a problem with the Messenger application. After activating the second card, you cannot connect via Messenger (voice calls); there is then an evident problem with data transmission. On one SIM card, everything is fine. You might ask, who today, while having dual SIM, additionally uses calls through a messaging application? Well, if you have someone abroad outside the EU, you use it (or you do not, because dual SIM in the iPhone does not permit it). I will not even mention the lack of a global standard in the form of a USB-C port, because someone might consider it a distinguishing feature relative to other smartphones (unless your reliable iPhone runs out of power in the middle of the day and you did not bring your inseparable power bank), and everyone around has standard chargers. I also omit the low level of screen refresh rate in a phone for 4-5k, because someone will say that it is not necessary for anyone's life. Therefore, whether it is worth it or not, answer that for yourselves. In this price range, I expect something more than a sleek appearance and an apple on the back.

I searched for a smartphone to replace my Huawei Mate 20 lite for over six months. I am not a "technology enthusiast"; I change my phone when it starts to malfunction, and when choosing, I consider system smoothness, camera, build quality, call quality, and battery. I wondered for a very long time about the iPhone 13 or iPhone 13 mini because the iOS system discouraged me; it never appealed to me and was not intuitive for me during use. However, due to the opinions of friends who own Apple products and the fact that Android flagships were not different in price from the iPhone while having many shortcomings, I decided to take a risk. I chose the iPhone 13 because it had a better battery than the iPhone 13 mini.

Moving to specifics, after using it for almost 2 months:

Advantages:
The first noticeable thing is the build quality of the phone; the system operates smoothly without any problems. Videos and photos are satisfactory. Despite the smaller screen, operating it is pleasant and sufficient. The biggest advantage is the size of the phone. It fits perfectly in the hand.
It connects without problems with speakers, headphones, and watches from other companies.
Data migration between Android and iOS is very simple (you just need to download the "Move to iOS" app on Android), but if you have a lot of data, it may take several hours. I recommend performing a "cleanup" of unnecessary things on the old phone first.
I was afraid that it would be difficult for me to get used to iOS, but I probably had to mature enough for Apple. It is very clear and simple to use.

Disadvantages:
Battery - at the time of purchase, I had the iOS 16 system, which literally consumed my battery level. Only after the second update from 16.1 to 16.1.1 did the situation stabilize. However, despite this, I still believe that the battery is a huge disadvantage of the phone. To make it last about 10 hours, I had to put in a lot of effort. I silenced almost all background applications, set the automatic screen brightness setting, etc.

Signal - I do not know if it is the fault of my model or if every iPhone 13 has such a problem, but I almost always have a maximum of 2 signal bars. During calls on the speakerphone, callers complain that my voice cuts out. I looked for information on this topic and found information that changing network settings or turning airplane mode on and off will help and the iPhone will start searching for the nearest antenna. But it seems ridiculous to have to look for an antenna for the iPhone every few moments.

Lack of possibility to transfer files via Bluetooth between phones with Android. There is no such option; iPhone does not allow the transfer.

For people running a business who make many calls, a disadvantage may be the fact that the iPhone saves only the last 100 calls in the history.

Summary: Despite the disadvantages, I still recommend purchasing the iPhone because it will serve for several good years without problems. However, I do not recommend this phone for non-technical people because they will not know how to change things in the settings to utilize its capabilities.

I have had the IP 13 for almost 4 months. Bought in a store, new, from the recent production batches. After many years with Android, out of pure curiosity. I will say right away - the IP is a very high-quality device, especially when you do not compare it with Android.))

I believe that most comparisons with Andr by other commenters do not concern this specific model, but IP/iOS in general. So I will comment on this thread. The problem in switching to iOS from Andr is that iOS is a system (almost) ideal for (ideal) ordinary users, but to understand the advantages of iOS, one must be an advanced user.

IP13, just like any other relatively fresh IP (after 2019), from the base to the Pro Max inclusive, is an ordinary and most common smartphone. Yes, slightly different controls (a matter of 2-3 days of getting used to it). The rest - the same as Andr phones. Maybe a better screen here, nicer cameras there. But in principle - it is all almost the same.

The main advantage of the IP is that when moving, for example, from an IP11 to an IP16, the user has everything practically without changes, in its place, predictable and stable. Even the iOS version will be the same in both cases (currently 18.2.1). And the system's operation will remain more or less predictable and stable for the next few years, until the battery drops to 80-85% capacity and one will have to look for another variation of a stable and predictable IP.
The strength and art of Apple is high optimization at the hardware and software level. The basic architectural assumption consists of combining very powerful processors of proprietary design and excellent photo correction algorithms - with a sensor of average technical characteristics, with average memory and a small capacity battery and obtaining from this unusual mixture a product of high utility values.
Every modern Chinese device, even up to 1000 PLN, outperforms the IP ON PAPER. It is a bit like a formal comparison of cheap equipment from a market with an acoustic power of 5000 W, with a tube amplifier with a power of 2 W )))

Andr products may have better cameras, batteries, more memory, faster charging and plenty of free applications in the Play Store. Whereas the IP will still be at an unattainable level in terms of how everything is fitted together in this equipment. But it is in vain to look for technical novelties on the IP - just like in a Lexus. Only proven and polished solutions.
For someone who is used to the fast turbo-evolution of hardware, astronomical technical parameters and a million available cheap applications on Andr devices - the IP and iOS will seem like complete inferior equipment.

In summary - I think that the evolution of perhaps not the devices themselves, but of iOS and Andr users has taken place in parallel universes for so long that switching from one system to the other is currently practically pointless?

I have been an iPhone 13 owner for about a year.

Disadvantages
- very uncomfortable typing on the keyboard, frequent linguistic errors which actually forced me to record voice messages or use voice-to-text.
- Battery. 7h is already an exaggerated maximum. If I do not use the phone at all, it might last 10h
- Signal. This model (confirmed on many forums) has some problem with the signal. It often has a maximum of two bars or none at all. People I talk to complain that either they cannot hear me or the call is breaking up
- Millions of senseless complications created by ISO, e.g., lack of possibility to edit a number before calling, meaning if a number is provided on a website but without an area code, you will not copy it. And even if you do, you will not add +48 at the beginning. The only option is rewriting the number by jumping between screens.
- Safari which is tragic and there is no possibility to opt out of it because all links automatically open in it
- PDFs which will not open if they are not opened in Safari
- impossible data transfer via Bluetooth with Android
- Apple navigation which works and pushes itself in similarly to Safari
- Excellent Siri which says "I dont understand what you said" even though I have passed the CAE exam
- it can freeze
- it can fail to update app data and, for example, you will not order groceries from Glovo or connect Netflix to the TV until the iPhone changes its mind.
- camera. Taking a photo of some detail, e.g., a broken nail ... quality like from an old Nokia and long focus time
- cables and adapters, when you buy non-Apple ones, it may happen that an incompatibility message pops up and there is no charging or connection.

Plusy
- it has support for several years and will not be discontinued like in the case of most Android smartphones
- Apple Wallet (my favorite option)
- double clicking shows the time
- Apple notebook is probably the best notebook I have used. Tables, colors, adding photos or videos is outstanding
- Size, it fits nicely in the hand
- Airphones which were better than excellent (unfortunately they were stolen from me after 2 months)

I am considering selling it and never Apple again

I have been using the phone for some time. The speakers are better than those in competitors flagship models. The cameras are good and at a flagship level, although in higher Apple models they are better than in the base version. The display is fine and I cannot complain about the battery because it is not bad. The call quality and microphones are excellent, and the build quality is also great. The SIM tray is harder to remove than in the iPhone 12, which I also owned, so I think the water resistance might be better because the seal holds more firmly. Regarding the processor, RAM, and graphics, although the phone has only 4GB of RAM, in Apple it is equivalent to 8GB in Android. The phone operates very quickly and smoothly, there is no doubt about it. Of course, I uninstalled the unnecessary applications right at the start. In summary, the phone is great, but the prices are too high and that must be admitted. I am not surprised that people prefer Android because they have a wider choice, cheaper models, etc., practically adapted to the budget of every average citizen. Apple prices are a bit excessive, I do not know what that depends on. It is a pity that Apple does not move towards cheap smartphones for every average worker, although it is hard to imagine an iPhone for 700 PLN made of cheap plastic with poor old Mediatek processors.

*krzys* what lags in Android and what phone model. Maybe you had an unoptimized version of the application? I am astonished by the statement that Android freezes; I have had many Android phones (P30 Pro, Mate 20 Lite, S5, S5 Neo, A5 2017, S3, S2 and all second-hand; to this day I use a Samsung tablet that is probably 5 years old and functions efficiently with 2 GB RAM) and not one of them froze, literally none! Now I am also using a P50 Pro, which is much cheaper than iOS, the photos are better, access to apps is limited, but how many of these apps do we actually download? And there is always access to the website. You are reading fairy tales or comparing a 500 PLN phone with a phone for 4000 PLN. No Android has ever frozen for me!
This type of debate is meaningless. Smartphones are different, even if the Android is "the same". Android overlays are different. Configurations are different, and finally, user awareness is very, very different. Today, one can still use an Android device with 2 GB of RAM that will run smoothly - as long as one knows what they have and what they are doing. One can just as easily significantly impair the performance of a device with 6 GB of RAM. It is enough to be an uninformed user. There have been and will be complaints. About everything. This is another iPhone I have. And it is the biggest failure I could have. Paying with the phone is a failure. The phone changes its wallpaper on its own, for example. You wake up in the morning and have a black background which returns to what it should be after a restart. The battery is terribly average. At home and at work - I have chargers everywhere and I charge it. Previous generations played YouTube in the background; here you have to download a special program. The speed is average. The photos are really very average. The shortest screen lock time is 30 seconds. So if we have overzealous FaceID and this time, there is a really significant chance of an unlocked phone getting into the wrong hands. The worst part is the notifications. After the last update, notifications sometimes arrive and sometimes they do not. Yesterday I had to go to the parcel locker very quickly because they would have sent my package back; the reason? No notifications whatsoever. Synchronization with the smartwatch is a disaster. Sometimes it rings, sometimes it does not. You select settings on the phone, and the watch still knows better. I am so frustrated with this phone that I increasingly feel like running it over with a car, and really without any emotion regarding how much this worthless device cost.

I share the exact same opinion as the gentleman from Bydgoszcz. I also switched from a Samsung S10 to an iPhone 13, encouraged by iPhone users at work who are enthusiastic about these phones. My Samsung broke and the screen leaked; unfortunately, I did not have any protection in the form of a case or film. I had it for over 2 years and nothing bad happened to it. Switching to an iPhone is the worst decision I have made. Close-up photos are terrible, general operation is not very intuitive, typing is very irritating and takes much longer than usual, the biggest disadvantage is the inability to adjust the alarm volume, it must be done through the ringtone settings, which should be separate, the inability to set any song as a ringtone, you have to purchase it, additionally there are paid storage packages for photos, I did not buy them, but notifications pop up constantly, you cannot play all videos on websites, taking screenshots is difficult, in Android you can take scrolling screenshots. There is more... On the plus side: the side sliding mute button, the ability to copy and paste photos without saving them, and sending screenshots which also do not need to be saved. Together with my husband, I plan to sell our iPhones and buy a Samsung S22 or 23.
