Currently, this is a phone that performs only the basic functions of calling and sending SMS. Due to the iOS 12 software, it is impossible to download basic applications such as Facebook or electronic banking apps. A message appears stating that iOS 14 is required to download these applications, and there are no more system updates for the iPhone 6. Apple representatives clearly state that a new system cannot be installed on these phones (it will not function correctly because Apple does not support these models with updates). I advise against purchasing this device; the configuration is difficult and the phone does not fulfill the functions of a smartphone. Apple wants to force the purchase of newer generation devices in this way, but it is a counterproductive action. The iPhone 6 was intended to be the first purchase from this company, and it will be the last. I will not be convinced by Apple again, even if these devices were given away for free (and they will be, as they are unfit for use).

@mel you mistook the iPhone 6S plus for the iPhone 6 PLUS, which has iOS 12.5.5 as the last iOS and the 6S PLUS has the latest iOS 15.7

Previously, I had a Samsung Galaxy. After three years, it started to slow down. I switched to an iPhone 6s from my son, who had it for 6 years. After 2 years, I decided on the 6s plus because I can no longer imagine having another phone. Everything runs smoothly, even at 5% battery. The battery lasts for a full day of use. Son, daughter, everyone has iPhone X and 13. The next one will be the 13.
