Technical specifications

Most people commenting on (and especially attacking) this phone forget one very important matter. The SE model is by design intended to look archaic and be only a substitute for an iPhone. Comparing it to other Android designs from 2022 makes no sense. It looks the way it does on purpose because it has a large group of older users for whom that design of the iPhone and phones in general was the most comfortable (not everyone needs a device the size of a ping-pong paddle in their pocket). Discussing the camera in the phone makes no sense because if you want nice photos, you should buy an iPhone 12/13. (An attack from Android users will probably follow shortly, but for the past year I had the "misfortune" of using Android and even a budget iPhone takes better photos than a flagship Xiaomi with a million megapixels).

iOS may offer fewer possibilities for "technical customization", but thanks to its "closed nature" :), when you pick up an old iPhone 7, it works just as smoothly as it did when it was purchased, which cannot be said even for a year-old Android.
To sum up,
a good phone, by design without unnecessary features.
it works, makes calls, costs a bit, but then again no one is forcing anyone to buy it.

After the update to 15.6.1, it started GETTING VERY HOT during operation. Until then, it had been performing very well.

Poor people are attacking the SE2022, but because they cannot afford it and because of the devices they are forced to use to write these ridiculous negative comments, one can only conclude one thing: Android phones really mess with the heads of those with empty pockets. I love people who comment on equipment at least four years before buying it. And the person who wrote above about the benefits of the iPhone 6 in 2014!! is literally my idol.

Now, one sentence from me about the SE2022: there is nothing to complain about, even the battery, which is worth replacing with a replacement from the company RepairPro, as it is 3x better than the original.

I have had the phone for 3 months; I inherited it from my daughter in exchange for... a new two-year loyalty contract with the operator. You know, kids will be kids, they are ashamed to walk around with such junk.

Phone specifications?
I think this camera with a tiny amount of MPX still outperforms 99% of Android SuperGoldMegaVGA devices. The same with LTE, on the latest Samsung or Xiaomi and Huawei phones... I think achieving results of 850-900MBPS in 5G and over 400MBPS in LTE will only be possible for an Android phone after connecting it via Wi-Fi to a fiber optic line.
As for the GPS, it is fantastic: it is raining and windy in the central Alps, the sky is black, full of clouds, plus a truck windshield with a UV filter, and the iPhone shows exactly 37 satellites with a "FIXED" status in GPS Test.
Sound quality? - At the level of Bang&Olufsen. Screen? Well, it is Retina - it needs no advertisement.
Processor? In my view, it is the equivalent of a 32-core Android device, seriously.

With the latest iOS on this phone, there is no chance of crying from helplessness, nerves, or laughter. Another robust device that will outlast the competition that packs everything into Android, except... it will outlast those Androids that will enter the market in 2 or 3 years. That is the truth, unfortunately, because 85% of today's new Androids are easily outperformed even by the 1st generation iPhone SE from 2016. 4GB of RAM in the SE2022 is, to put it mildly, the equivalent of 16GB of RAM in an Android.

More than a year has passed since I switched from the iPhone 8 to the SE 2022. I chose this model because of the size of the phone, as I cannot imagine owning a so-called very large and heavy device. Unfortunately, it was not a good choice. I started having battery problems exactly in the thirteenth month, when the manufacturer's warranty expired. Two weeks later, I began having issues with charging the phone, because it takes as long as 5-6 hours to charge from 20% to 96% (using the original cable and plug, of course). I did not have such problems with the iPhone 8, and its battery only started to deteriorate after 3 years. I know how to look after a battery so it does not wear out quickly, so I do not overcharge it, but it turns out that the SE is a very defective purchase. Another drawback is the camera. The photo quality in the dark is terrible! When I recently compared our photos from a company party with my friends, their phones from other manufacturers outperformed the Apple device. Another downside of the SE 2022 is the problem with the fingerprint reader. Quite often, attempting to unlock the phone takes as long as 2 minutes because the reader does not respond. I had the same issue with the iPhone 8, but only after 4 years. In this model, the problem appeared as early as the second month of use. However, the biggest problem and downside for me with the SE is a strange change that appeared 3 months ago. I noticed recently that when I am in Germany and someone calls me (referring to numbers saved in my contacts), the caller's identity is not displayed, only the number appears. When I am in Poland, everything works normally. It is very strange because I have never encountered this before.
In short, the phone is not worth the money, and to be honest, neither is any iPhone. In the near future, I will decide to buy a new phone, but with Android. While talking to friends who have been using Motorola phones for several consecutive years, we concluded that such a cheaper phone is superior to the expensive Apple product.

[...] The phone looks like a Xiaomi from 2016, it runs slowly, it does not freeze, but it operates as if in slow motion, the screen refresh rate is so slow that when I start it after using my realme 120 Hz for 1000 PLN, I have the impression that it is stuttering due to the cold. The screen occupies perhaps half of the frame. The camera takes photos like a Nokia from 2005, and selfies appear to be of very poor quality. Charging takes 2 hours, and the phone operates for 4-5 hours, which is a tragic situation. I have it as a work phone and I am experiencing great difficulty; the device is worth 500 PLN given its capabilities, including Apple's high margin.

There is blatant criticism regarding the thick bezels and so on, but what is the truth? If you are looking for an ultra fast SMALL phone where the camera does not protrude, then this device is for you. I switched from the SE2; previously I had the SE1, and before that a Nokia E66 on Symbian. I purchased a small phone with the excellent iOS system. The only thing one can find fault with is the battery. But it is well known that a small phone has a small battery. It is worth buying because it is a great phone, extremely fast with 5G and small. It is probably the last such model from iPhone.... it is really worth it.

The phone is small, which suits me very well. It works lightning fast and operates smoothly without any lag. It takes very good photos and excellent HD videos because it has very good image and video processing algorithms. We have a choice of HD 30fps, 60fps, and 4K. I mostly record in HD 60fps. In principle, I cannot distinguish daytime recordings from footage taken with professional cameras. The battery lasts a very long time. The phone is very efficient because it has a good processor. I have nothing to complain about. I used to have an Android but switched to Apple without any difficulties. I recommend it.

Good day, I cycle a lot so I had to change to a smaller phone. The iPhone SE 3rd generation does not differ much from its predecessor or the iPhone 8, so I will not evaluate the design; in daily use, the phone works very well and there is no possibility of it lagging. The camera takes nice photos in good conditions, and the battery? It is sufficient for me for the entire day; of course, there are also very good stereo speakers and a good processor. If someone is looking for a compact, fast phone that will not fail, I definitely recommend it, kind regards.

I have been using the phone for a long time. I find comments saying that the processor is great but the rest of the phone cannot keep up amusing :) well, everything keeps up because browsing the internet on 5G works instantly, demanding games do not stutter, and photos are of good quality for such a lens because the processor performs the calculations and improves the image. The display is excellent. Overall, it is a small compact phone at an affordable price with a fast processor... which does not stick out of the pocket and handles everything.

I am a user of this model and I made a conscious decision to choose it, the appearance is classic, in a retro style and that is what it is all about, the compact dimensions are an advantage. In my opinion, the battery lasts longer than in my previous iPhone 12 mini. The iPhone is responsive, does not slow down, and will have Apple support for a long time. Both the stereo speakers and the cameras are an advantage. For me, it is a successful purchase, I recommend it above all to conscious buyers who, like me, have a sentiment for this appearance.
