I have been using this phone model for a few days now. So far, it is performing well for me, but I would like to list a few points worth noting:
1. It has 22,000 mAh and you can feel it; I am able to use the phone all day (Netflix, gaming, writing – everything), leave home with 100%, and return with 70% after heavy use.
2. It takes a long time to charge. However, considering the phone has a large battery, this was to be expected; nevertheless, even 30% is easily enough for 8-10 hours (if not more, depending on usage).
3. Weight – it is quite a heavy phone, though it is possible to become accustomed to it (I became accustomed after one day); however, if someone values equipment lightness, there are other Doogee models that I think will be more suitable for them.
4. Gaming – this phone has an excellent processor. Playing something like Roblox on graphics settings 8-10 is perfectly fine (graphics and processor are like a computer).
5. Applications – there are many unnecessary applications in my opinion which can of course be removed, but there is no weather app for example (everything else like a calculator, calendar, compass, or flashlight is present).
6. Flashlight – there are two flashlights, a front one and a top one; the top one is turned on via an app and has 3 modes and the ability to set power from 20-100.
7. Music and notifications do not display on the main screen (this might just be my case, but I am simply unable to turn it on, and when I try, it does not work).
8. The charger was included in the set; the phone also has protection for the charger port in the form of a flap.
9. Camera – the rear camera is not the best, rather from a lower range, and it also lacks stabilization; there is some HDR which improves things slightly, but it is not anything amazing, though the front camera is even better than in the iPhone 13.
10. Software – I also heard complaints that Doogee phones do not receive updates, but they do, you just have to go into settings and find the updates there :)
11. Rear screen – very small, but it works great; you can enable various modes, for example, when looking at it or tapping twice; you can also set your own photos or choose from various 3D videos or different watch faces.
12. It works very well "as a portable power bank"; it charged my iPhone 13 from 30% to 100% while losing only 20%.
13. Problem with TikTok – I might be the only one with this, but the sound often duplicates when I enter the search bar on TikTok and sometimes even turning off the phone does not help; one has to wait until the application closes itself from the background.
14. I recommend buying a popsocket before buying the phone, as it is easier to use it that way.
15. A plus is also the memory; when my iPhone had its memory completely full (126 GB full, and the phone had 128 GB), here, after transferring everything and logging in, the occupied memory is 87 GB.
16. It has a slot for a SIM card and a memory card.
17. NFC works on it (payment card).
18. There is unlocking by face, code, and fingerprints – on the right side. Generally, the face and fingerprints are very sensitive; you do not have to press hard or do anything extraordinary, just a light touch is enough; it does not work for other fingers if they are not added.
19. Loud sound from the speaker even at the lowest settings.
20. Very good quality of displayed videos on Netflix etc.
21. It also has an extra dimming feature, which I found very impressive.
22. Regarding the main screen, it also has a camera, calendar, compass, bluetooth, wifi, mobile data, and battery saving mode, as well as stopping and starting music (you can choose the application or it sets itself automatically from what is currently being used).
23. It has a button on the left side that can be edited according to needs.
24. I also recommend buying a screen protector online, because it was quite difficult for me to find one in a physical store.
25. Unfortunately, I do not know about the customer service, but I heard it is not the best; however, you can contact them via email and phone number, as well as the intermediary from whom the phone was purchased.
26. I purchased my phone [...] and there is also a larger selection of Doogee than on [...] (and prices vary).
27. It also has a built-in place for a lanyard in the casing.
28. It is rugged (but that is obvious).
29. It has a speaker only at the bottom.
30. It has a good microphone for calls.
31. Generally speaking, it can also be "modded" – customized to your liking, and it does not interfere with usage.
So far, my opinion of this phone is great, but I have only used it for a few days; if someone needs a good phone either for gaming, work, or long journeys, this phone is definitely for them; but if someone values the ability to have everything ready immediately as with (iSpot), or a thin phone, or even a super camera, I would recommend looking at other models. I used an iPhone 13 before; I changed because the battery was so weak that I had to charge it 2-4 times a day with lighter usage than this phone. I really recommend this phone, but it would be best to familiarize yourself thoroughly with what I have written :) this is my honest opinion.
