Have you tried replacing Google Wallet with something else, for example software from Huawei??
I am also curious how standard close-up photos turn out - such as nameplates or VIN numbers??

After the last two updates, the wallet is already functioning :) The phone is steadily improving, and they have also resolved the problems with bluetooth (it disconnected the speaker/headphone every few minutes). Now it is functioning correctly, I do not observe any major, annoying errors :)

Purchased for the thermal imaging camera - it is excellent. At the moment, only three phones have such resolution and frame rate (25 fps), and this one is the cheapest. Some observations. There is no FM radio, or I do not know what else needs to be done to make it work. There is an application, but it seems to have been installed unnecessarily - the radio does not start despite connecting headphones through a USB-C - jack adapter (the phone detects and supports these headphones). It is a pity that there is no macro camera (digital zoom is only 4x). The notification LED does not light up continuously during charging - I would like to know, with a quick glance at the phone, that it is charging. Please note that for now, it is used as a tool, not as a phone, so I might not have noticed everything. Oh, after the first activation of the phone, the thermal imaging only started after the fifth attempt (!), but now it works flawlessly. Regards.

I ordered the phone to see for myself the night vision and thermal imaging. Both surprised me positively. Thermal imaging detected a person at a distance of about 70m and would manage even further. However, it is difficult to distinguish what that heat spot is. Night vision works great in dark rooms with zero external lighting, even at a distance of 10-12m. Night vision is worse outdoors. One can easily walk even through a dark forest because it is sufficient to scan 4-5m ahead. Unfortunately, the microphone turned out to be a shortcoming, as it lowered my voice on its own. Callers complained that they suddenly could not hear me, and after a moment it was normal again. This determined the decision to withdraw from the purchase.

The phone is quite decent. Cons: 1. Software translation errors or missing translations. 2. FM radio requires headphones, but the phone lacks this input. 3. Slightly quiet speaker. 4. Night mode photos look poor. 5. No 5G. Pros: 1. Decent main camera. 2. Strong battery. 3. Solid build quality. 4. Excellent thermal imaging camera. 5. Excellent night vision camera. 6. The phone works very fast. 7. 256 GB for data + card. 8. Full dual SIM (2 SIM slots and one for a memory card). 9. Fast and wireless charging. That is all for now after 2 months of use. What happens next - time will tell.
