Due to the hinges, the Pixel has an IPX8 certificate (lack of dust resistance). This is confirmed by the manufacturer's website.
The manufacturer's website also contains the following statement: "The device was factory designed in accordance with the IEC 60529 IP68 standard for water and dust resistance, but it is not completely waterproof or dustproof. Accessories are not waterproof or dustproof. Water and dust resistance are not permanent and will gradually deteriorate or disappear over time as a result of normal wear and tear, repair, disassembly, or damage to the device. The device's resistance to drops is not ideal. If you drop the device, it may lose its water and dust resistance properties. Damage caused by drops or other external impacts is not covered by the warranty. In the event of liquid damage, the warranty is void." - perhaps Google is misleading users because an editor made a mistake. Who knows. Nevertheless, the entry is there. (jf)

The phone does not have a thermometer (only Pixel 8 pro, 9 pro and 9 pro xl have it).
I apologize for the error and thank you for the correction. Best regards. (jf)

The phone is poor. The front screen is from the Pixel 9 (without pro). The hinge cover and internal screen scratch very easily- after a week of careful use, there is a scratch on the hinge and on the screen. The speakers are quiet. Stating the phone's thickness when unfolded (without the camera bump) makes no sense- closed with the bump, it is three times as much. The rear cameras are weaker than in the pro version, so Pro in the name is only because of the price. The AI that is advertised so much is useless in daily use - the assistant is still better than Gemini. The battery barely lasts a day under normal use (6-22). The unfolded screen is nice but not very useful because websites show images that are too large and browsing pages is like it is for the visually impaired.
Bumps on the hinges under the screen are palpable and visible from a distance - on the right side of the screen, you can feel what is underneath. The build quality before unfolding is okay, after unfolding it is a failure.
Review after 7 days of use.

Point 10. Information about the phone from the manufacturer's website: Pixel 9 Pro Fold: Designed to meet IPX8 water resistance requirements according to IEC 60529 when each device leaves the factory, but the device is not waterproof or dustproof. Accessories are not water-resistant. Water resistance is not a permanent condition and decreases or disappears over time due to normal wear and tear, device repair, disassembly, or damage. The phone is not resistant to falls/drops, and dropping the device may cause loss of water/dust resistance. Damage caused by falling, drops, sliding, and other external forces is not covered by the warranty. Liquid damage voids the warranty. More details can be found at g.co/pixel/water

In the device comparison tab, when compared to any Pixel with IP68, the 9 Pro Fold shows up as PX8, so the information is inconsistent if the message you mentioned is indeed still there. I think that for a potential user as well as for the warranty service provider, information about the lack of a dustproof certificate will be key when considering a purchase or service.
I have not yet found a better way to maintain a catalog with reliable data than basing it on manufacturer data. The manufacturer provides it - we provide it. If the manufacturer changes their mind - we will change the data. Provided someone notices. Regards. (jf)

Great phone. I have had it for a week now and it is excellent for me. It meets all my requirements. Android 16 .02 starting today. I recommend it to everyone. I have probably owned most phones already and I know what I am writing.
