Technical specifications

I have had this phone for about a year.
If I had not dropped it, I would probably have used it for longer.
On the plus side - definitely the sound, the vibrations - the haptics in general, it takes nice photos, it operates ultra-smoothly, I do not remember it ever freezing, I do not remember a notification ever appearing that an application had stopped working. The dimensions are also a plus.
The downside is the battery. I do not use the phone (or so it seems to me) intensively, mainly for calling, browsing social media, or the internet, and at the end of the day, the battery level is often already low.
Now I am replacing it with an Xperia 10 IV or Zenfone 8... we will see, it is a pity that the new Pixels have grown in size, because I would probably have stayed with Google, as they are superior in terms of smoothness of operation and user experience.

I absolutely do not recommend it. As in the descriptions above - the poor battery drains very quickly, it heats up while browsing websites, notifications arrive with a delay or only at the moment of unlocking the screen, etc.

The phone takes great photos.
Pure Android works very efficiently.
Calls are clear, the network connection is without problems (T-mobile).
Great size (which Google moved away from with newer Pixel models...).

BUT I DO NOT RECOMMEND:
I replaced the screen twice; the first time it was damaged after a fall from a very low height. The glass was intact, the display element itself cracked under the glass. The second time the screen was damaged without a fall during normal use.
The phone was in a case (Spigen) and with a protective glass the whole time. It seems that the screen carries loads that should be carried by the phone frame.
A nice smartphone, but very mechanically unreliable.

I have been a user of this phone for almost two years; it served me first as a personal one, and now as a work phone.
The battery lasts 1.5 days and charges quickly. The camera is great, the phone has never frozen or slowed down. It is small and compact. I have not had a better one so far.
At the same time, I use the Google Pixel 6a, which is practically the same in daily use, but I like it less because of the design and the fact that it is slightly larger.
I had a Google Pixel 3a, it was also great, and now my child has it.
I sincerely recommend it.

In this day and age when comments and reviews are purchased, the comments here should be treated with skepticism. I do not know what the proper comparison of the Pixel with the mentioned phones is, however, the P40 has a 50 mpx sensor and although many factors influence the quality of photos in smartphones, the sensor is undeniably much larger. The mentioned MEIZU 16xs has 48 mpx. It is also a question of what one considers a good photo. Nevertheless, a larger sensor usually results in greater detail.
