I used the Pixel 4 XL for 10 months, after which it stopped working. For no reason known to me, the display went out permanently. Using it was quite pleasant, although my unit had many problems from the start. The system did not have serious errors, it did not slow down, and there was no need to reset it. The photos were very good, more natural and seemingly sharper compared to the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. It is difficult to judge if they were better, just different. The Mate had a higher resolution, so one could zoom in on a photo without loss and it was still fantastic. There was more depth and color enhancement. However, sometimes, especially in low light, it tended to produce an out-of-focus portrait, for example. The Pixel was almost never wrong in this regard. The video quality was very satisfying. It lacked a wide angle, but there was an option to combine one photo from several in the additional settings, and it turned out really well. The display made a good impression. Unfortunately, my model had many problems. When recording video, there was a constant clicking on the recorded film with every movement of the device. Charging was too slow. During inductive charging, the battery would decrease rather than increase whenever even just music was playing from the smartphone. I noticed that the back panel started to come off. Screen sharing practically did not work; it did not find televisions (it was only possible to share on one and only once :)). Overall, the Pixel disappointed me, mainly because of the number of problems. Although I admit that the ergonomics were satisfying, the speakers were good, the photos were very nice, the display was okay, the radar was a useful function, and updates were fast. Overall, however, the switch from Huawei is two steps back and I am now skeptical about the Google Pixel.
