I was at Saturn in Germany to see the Pixel 7. I will say this: it is excellent, it fits well in the hand, and it runs very smoothly. It is pleasant to use. I am replacing my OnePlus 8 with this very Pixel. Price 649, plus a charger from Google for 29. I recommend it, I am surprised.

Hello. I purchased the Google Pixel 7 at X-kom; the price is somewhat excessive at 4,200 PLN, but I wanted to have it, so I do. I have it after owning the Google Pixel 6, so I can say a few things. It is certainly much more refined; there is no question of any lags or things working poorly. The display is much better than in the predecessor, without strange discolorations etc. The fingerprint scanner in the display finally works smoothly, as befits a flagship device. Additionally, IT IS SMALLER; those few millimeters do make a difference because it is more ergonomic and thinner, and the camera bar is slightly more concave. It takes photos like the previous model, so I will not elaborate on that, but the front camera is 10 mpx and not 10.8 – there is an error in the descriptions; the addition of face recognition is a benefit. It heats up less than its predecessor during normal use, and in fact, it remains cool; it is better. Additionally, it has better brightness ranges in dark rooms because the sixth model was too bright, which was annoying. The battery is smaller, but it seems to last longer. I recommend it; it is clear that this is a premium product.

Very good phone. I have had it for two weeks and I do not regret the purchase. The phone was bought [...] for 549?, for that money it is a good phone, but for the amount that is listed [...], not necessarily. The vibrations are very pleasant, the stereo speakers are good (clear sound, but little bass), the previously used MI 11 Lite 5G NE provided a slightly better experience in terms of low tones, but in the higher ranges, the Pixel is already better. The camera is top-tier, I do not remember when I experienced such a quality shock. Whether during the day or in the dark, the photos are very, very good. It records videos very well, you can smoothly switch between lenses during recording. The screen is clear, bright with very eye-pleasing colors. I did not experience any problems with the fingerprint reader, and I suffer from excessive hand sweating and have always had problems with the operation of readers. This one, in my opinion, works well on sweaty fingers. It happens that it unlocks after several attempts, sometimes it asks for a lock code, but rarely. I do not feel any deterioration compared to other phones I have used; it seems to me that it is best with this one. I have been using it intensively for two weeks because I want to know it thoroughly. After a whole day of use, I was not able to deplete the battery; there was always 10-30% left, but the phone was mainly within Wi-Fi range, not data transmission. The build quality is very pleasant, although I do not like the feeling of emptiness under any part of the phone, and here it is like that under the screen and at the back. This is a slight downside. If someone has had contact with the iPhone XR, they will know what I mean - a similar sound effect. On the other hand, the mentioned MI 11 Lite gives the impression of a solid block, which is missing here. Clean Android is a big plus; after several Xiaomi phones in a row, I am tired of those overlays, especially MIUI and those smuggled advertisements and slowing down for no reason. The device works very fast, but I am not the type of user who plays games, so I will not evaluate whether it is efficient in games. Internet, YT, plenty of applications - it does not experience any slowdowns. The temperature to which it heats up is moderate, usually oscillating around the temperature of a healthy person, which is good. However, during the first startup, the "camera island" was about 45 degrees, but that was an isolated case. After updates, it dropped to the previously described level. During charging, the island also becomes clearly warm, but not as much as it did at the very beginning. The phone offers a lot, but unfortunately not in our country. I have a SIM card from Plus, so far 5G does not work, I have not seen VoLTE either. Every such device has a free VPN from the 2TB package on Gmail, but not in Poland - a very big downside here. The camera island protrudes significantly and when taking the phone out of a pocket, it quite often gets caught. In a case, this no longer happens. Overall, more pros than cons for me. For the ~2600 spent, you can accept certain inconveniences, which largely result only from the lack of official distribution in our country. Maybe this will change, maybe not, I am optimistic. The phone would be ideal if it were for 2000, for ~2600 you can think about it, I accept what is there, I could eliminate some of the downsides if I moved my number to another network - then 5G and VoLTE would work. But the VPN, which bothers me the most, I still will not receive... If you were to buy it for 3500-4000, I advise against it. It is not worth that much.

Phone bought as a gift. I have been using it for a week to test the device. The phone was imported from Germany for 2900 PLN and, by the way, it is the most expensive phone I have ever bought. I use a Huawei P40 daily and I will compare these two phones here. I generally have very mixed feelings after reading so much about the excellence of clean Android. My observations: 1) The fingerprint reader in this 3000 PLN phone is a complete disaster. The reader works so poorly that even registering a fingerprint was a problem because the system decided there were too many attempts and logged me out. Once I succeeded, 9 out of 10 attempts to unlock the phone with a fingerprint fail. 2) Face unlocking is not much better. I would describe the accuracy of this process as 50/50, which is an embarrassing result for a 3000 PLN phone. When it is slightly dark, it does not work at all, while in my 3-year-old Huawei P40, both the reader and face unlocking work every time, even in almost total darkness. 3) Clean Android was supposed to be so great, but there are very serious shortcomings: - there is no customizable Always on Display - you cannot take a photo in full 50 MP resolution. Generally, I have the impression that algorithms work more than the sensor itself in the camera. Photos look good at first glance, but after zooming in, they are blurry. That is why I would like to be able to use the full 50mpx. The 3-year-old Huawei P40 takes better photos; the sensor works more there than the algorithms, it has a 30x zoom I believe, and allows taking photos in full resolution - on the Huawei, NFC could be turned off, here it is on all the time - widgets and a search bar that cannot be removed from the home screen 4) With 90Hz refresh rate on (there is no adaptive mode), the battery drains very rapidly, so I returned to the default 60Hz, at which everything is not so smooth, and let us be honest, you do not buy a 3000 PLN phone for it to run like one for a few hundred. The battery is very, very average, not to say below expectations. Generally, for 3000 PLN, I do not recommend it. With these flaws, this model should be called 7a and be 1000 PLN cheaper. The camera is the biggest disappointment. I will write it again: the 3-year-old Huawei bought for 1850 PLN takes comparable if not better photos. There is no technological leap I was counting on when buying a more expensive and newer phone. If I were spending money again, I would choose something else.

Hello, I have been using the Pixel 7 for about 2 months after switching from a Samsung Galaxy S22. I have read many reviews here and I do not know, but it seems that some people might be buying counterfeit products. The cameras are fine; the photos are 12.5 MP, and people should not think that other phones have 50 MP, because that is physically impossible. For example, on the Samsung, it was written in the photo details 50 MP and full resolution, with a size 3 times larger. So what? When uploading photos to a computer and enlarging them by the same amount, they pixelate in exactly the same way. And 12.5 MP is completely sufficient even to view on a computer; the photos are clear, sharp, with good color reproduction, especially since you can adjust the exposure. The front cameras could use some changes because they are average and not impressive. Face recognition works smoothly, although the fingerprint scanner is faster and works very well. Simply no complaints. 100 unlocks out of 100 attempts. I did a test to see if it makes mistakes, but no one managed to unlock it, which unfortunately could not be said about the Samsung, although they have improved it now. The smooth refresh rate is a nice option; it does not drain the battery as much as a constant 90 Hz. It is difficult to drain the battery in one day. After browsing the internet constantly and watching three matches, I still had 20 percent battery in the evening. I have not managed to drain it in a single day; with normal use, the battery lasts for 2 days, even with the display active (weather info, notifications, etc.). Great synchronization with everything, a very good display, bright but not too bright in dark rooms. Everything runs smoothly and without problems, including the Wi-Fi hotspot. My Samsung used to disconnect. You can uninstall all applications, and messaging apps do not duplicate like they did on Samsung; you just remove what is unnecessary. I can recommend it with a clear heart, and it has good signal reception. Regards.

My short review covers a one-month period of using this phone. I began using it after completing all updates, which means it is on Android 14 with January security patches. There will be some comparisons to the Galaxy S22, which I abandoned. Most of the major flaws mentioned in opinions and reviews do not occur in my case. The fingerprint reader is weaker than in flagship Samsung phones (my previous phone was the S22), but it is still very good and fails very rarely. I should add that I unlock it using only one finger, which I registered two or three times on the attached protective glass. The second matter is the battery, which according to some was expected to be tragic, and I already considered returning the Pixel at the time of purchase if that were the case. Fortunately, it proved to be quite acceptable; a SOT (WiFi and 5G) at the level of 6 hours is not a problem, whereas on the S22, 4 hours was a significant achievement. On 5G, the battery percentage decreases more rapidly, but not like on the S22, where at 10% it would discharge in a few minutes; here on WiFi it can last an hour, and on mobile data about 30 minutes. Generally, I charge the phone to full once per day, and it happens that I only recharge it to 80 or 90 percent. The camera in my opinion is better than in the S22, but I have always been a fan of the Google camera application and I used it several years ago on the LG G6 or one plus 7T. To summarize the advantages: camera, battery, clean Android, haptics, original design, although the bezels could be smaller. The disadvantages: the processor, which is not top-tier, and the screen, which is average compared to Galaxy phones. I have always wanted to try Pixels and I am satisfied. I bought a used unit in perfect condition for 1500 zł and I think I will use it for some time. I thought about the 8, but I would have to pay twice as much because it is difficult to find a used device.

I have had the Pixel 7 for 5 months, I switched from the Samsung S10+ and I will occasionally compare both devices. The Pixel 7 is not perfect, so I will start with the disadvantages: the battery (like in the S10+) is not impressive, nor is the charging speed, the fingerprint reader works basically as poorly as in the Samsung, facial recognition is also not the best; in poor lighting, it basically does not work. I also include among the disadvantages the very slow pace of installing updates that the Pixel receives approximately every month. It is excessive for a 55MB update installation to take well over an hour. And it is extremely slippery. A case is necessary.
A neutral feature is adaptive charging (left on the charger overnight, it charges so slowly that 100% charge is reached roughly before the scheduled alarm); it is too early to assess how this affects battery life. I also evaluate the display and call quality neutrally.
Advantages: good operating speed, everything works noticeably faster than in the S10+, it transferred my applications from the previous smartphone very well along with the settings (passwords), there are no unnecessary applications (although a system mirror application, for example, would be useful). The Pixel also sounds quite good, in my opinion better than its predecessors. And above all, the camera! I have never had such photos from a smartphone before. The S10+ was also able to take nice photos in favorable light. But the Pixel is much better. Even in worse lighting conditions, it is possible to take an interesting photo. Other smartphones cannot manage in such conditions.
In summary: the Pixel 7 is a device for someone who likes taking photos and who will ignore certain shortcomings.

After a month of use, I rate the phone as average. After switching from the brilliant, though already aged LG V50 ThinQ, I expected much more. The photo quality compared to the V50 is better, but without any major difference, however the lack of an automatic flash in the Pixel (only some automatic night mode) is already an oversight. Manually turning on the flash before taking a photo at night is a very poor experience. The antenna range is much weaker than in the LG. In places where I always had range with the LG, I do not have it with the Pixel. The screen on the Pixel compared to the LG is brighter and nicer - it looks great. The speed of operation is very good (similar to the LG). Nothing freezes, the phone is truly fast. The biggest disadvantage of the Pixel is the lack of system Miracast. Without Chromecast, I cannot share the screen on the TV. Screen casting does not detect any TV except those based on Android. I tested the detection with several Samsung and LG devices, and the system screen casting does not detect them. For me, this is a huge disadvantage because it is embarrassing that everyone can easily send an image to my TV even with old phones, while I with a brand new Pixel do not have such a possibility. It is a major failure. And I would have forgotten about the fingerprint reader in the screen. I have recorded 4 patterns of one finger, and even so, unlocking the screen with it is a matter of chance, and with a slightly dirty finger, it is impossible. In the LG with the reader on the back, I did not even know that a fingerprint could fail to work every time. In the Pixel, I even gave up on the screen protector, but even so, the reader works very poorly.

Hello, I purchased the phone new, of course, through a well-known channel, because it is not officially available. I bought it and paid with the hope that we would like each other as much as its predecessor, the Pixel 4; using it for four hours was enough to realize that as a phone, it did not convince me at all.
The defects that occur, and which supposedly were not meant to be there—and I do not blame the phone here, but the operator- Google team—are the lack of 5G in the Plus network, as it exists and works great in other networks. Apparently, it is still not available here and nothing helps in contacts with the operator regarding this matter. Poor quality in terms of signal and conversation comfort. It tends to drop connections. The camera, which was supposed to be the highlight, has no noticeable changes for me compared to the old Pixel 4. It takes great photos, especially of landscapes, but it performs poorly with macro photos; the image is either unnaturally sharp or completely blurred at the edges of the frame. Improved battery compared to the 4; something like 5 hours of screen on time is the norm, even with two cards, where as is known, eSIM consumes a lot of energy. A total, I repeat: a total failure with the fingerprint reader; in this model, it does not function regardless of whether it is used with a film, glass, or without any protection. Finally, wireless and reverse charging; what of it, since cable charging is slow and the phone tends to heat up while recharging. I listed my unit for sale where I bought it; in its place, I will buy a Nothing Phone. I like to stand out, but without overdoing it by accepting defects.

I have been using the phone for a week. I was encouraged to purchase it by a generally positive opinion on the internet... after which I saw a series of negative comments here. Unfortunately, I will join them. I have not used the camera; I assume it is excellent, based on what I saw in photos and zoom presentations. I do not use the fingerprint scanner or biometrics at all, so I believe they are satisfactory.

Regarding practical use, the biggest disappointment for me is the "pure android". My Xiaomi Mi 8 with MIUI 12 is just as "pure" as the Pixel 7, except that Xiaomi does not have intrusive reminders. The Pixel does not allow for the uninstallation of Google applications; the wallet application regularly reminds me to set up a Google Wallet, and this cannot be dismissed, only postponed. Google constantly requests to save passwords. When I visit a website that has its own application (e.g., Allegro), it automatically redirects me to the application. I must indicate in a pop-up window, if it appears, that by opening the page in the browser, I wish to use the browser. The extent to which Google believes it knows better what the user needs is annoying. The second major disadvantage for me is conducting calls, which is the primary function of a phone (yes, I am old-fashioned ;) ); the speaker is covered by the screen, which looks excellent, but even at the lowest volume setting for calls, a person sitting nearby can hear what the person on the other end is saying. That is all; I intend to sell it as soon as possible.
