I have been using it for over 2 months, and I have been using Android phones for at least 10 years. Only the Pixel made me realize why one can criticize Android phones so much and be a fan of the iPhone. For me, this phone was created only to finally convince someone to switch to an iPhone. It was only with the Google device that I began to take an interest in optional launchers because the Pixel launcher is simply very poor. Google's attempt to make Android more appealing is appalling; they force Google additions upon the user. For this price, the phone obviously has its advantages, but the software is terrible in terms of user-friendliness.

Just as Robert Woda wrote, however, the negative comments are not written by the competition; the phone actually has a temperature problem. Sometimes with moderately demanding games, it can reach a temperature that makes holding it uncomfortable after 20 minutes. Add to that fast charging and you essentially have a source of intense heat, which fortunately a case addresses very well (unfortunately, they are quite expensive).

What everyone mentioned: the speakers are excellent and the camera is magnificent; I managed to take a photo of the moon that is not an overlay as in a certain brand of phones.

What no one wrote about: the speakers have bass for a phone; switching from Pixels, Oppo, or Xiaomi, I suddenly felt that I could perceive depth in the music through the phone. Clean Android is an advantage in itself. Water resistance has saved my phone more than once from an unfortunate fall into the bathtub while listening to music. Fingerprint reader is acceptable.

Now the downsides: it responds after about 2-4 seconds, sometimes you have to place your finger again, all accessories for the phone are much more expensive than the competition, fast charging only works with a dedicated charger for which you have to pay extra, and it is difficult to find a cable that will work with it; after twelve cables, I managed to find one that suddenly interrupts every few seconds and starts charging again. With intensive use, you have to charge once in the afternoon and once at night; however, for fast charging, you can also purchase a wireless charger which, as with Apple, must be dedicated to the Pixel.

Overall impression is excellent; in daily use, it is the most expensive and also the best phone I have ever used.
I am sorry, but I must clarify this so as not to unintentionally mislead others. A photo of the Moon without AI and overlays is a bright point in the darkness regardless of the smartphone brand. With an appropriate reduction of the aperture: a bright point with surface markings. Relatively inexpensive compact superzooms can take a decent photo of the Moon. Smartphones cannot. Smartphones always deceive. Even those with a periscope system and a relatively large zoom. I repeat: regardless of the brand. There is a possibility to upload your own photo to the card, although it is not the most convenient way. You can share it with others. Regards. (jf)

After nearly three years of using the Samsung Galaxy s20plus, I decided to buy a Google Pixel. Initially, I wanted the Pixel 6a and almost bought it. However, I spent 400 euros more and purchased the Pixel 7pro. I have been using it for two months, and my opinion today is that I made a very good decision. Photos are of better quality than on the Samsung, both during the day and in the evening. The smoothness is also better. Even the reception in my house, where the Samsung always has a maximum of one bar or sometimes none at all, the Pixel has five. Calls are also better. It is surprising that the connection on the Samsung could drop during a call, while this has not happened on the Pixel so far. From the very beginning, the battery in the Samsung discharged very quickly. After almost three years, it is a miracle that it still lasts a few hours during intensive use, but I usually charge it 3 times a day. If I have the Pixel one hundred percent charged in the morning, I only charge it in the evening, and I use it quite intensively. I like the appearance of the Pixel. It stands out positively compared to other smartphones. I recommend the Pixel 7pro to everyone who is undecided. I think all negative opinions are written by the competition. There is nothing to complain about here. The Pixel does not heat up even half as much as the Samsung Galaxy s20plus. The worst thing for the Samsung is when using Google maps in the car during summer. It can heat up to the point that it finally turns itself off. I have not experienced this with the Pixel. It is also important to me that the Pixel is fully waterproof because I sometimes use the phone during rain in the yard. On a scale from 1 to 10, just as I give 6 points to my worn-out Samsung, I give 8 to the Pixel. All in all, I would even give it 9 if they invented a battery that could be charged after two or three days of intensive use. But it seems that this will not happen for a few more years. It is a pity because such possibilities already exist and technology allows for it.

The phone is great and unbeatable in terms of price-performance ratio. The camera is also at the level of, let's say, the S22. The screen is clear, colors are intense, 120Hz (but I will get to that in a moment). Contrast, brightness, you cannot find any faults here considering it can be bought for as little as 1500,-. However, what happens during daily use of the phone (I work in an office, so I make calls quite often, music is playing quietly practically all the time - the speakers are really great, sometimes I need to use the browser with more than 5 tabs). The phone then heats up to such an extent that you can literally burn yourself!!! And the battery decreases by +/-20% within an hour, which is unacceptable! I went on a trip to buy dogs, 100% battery, and after an hour of driving with navigation at a temperature of +29°C behind the car window, the phone turned off! Due to overheating, and the battery dropped to 75% (I will mention, after an hour). If I were driving a difficult route where I had to turn into a street every 2-3km, I would probably break this phone out of frustration.

Overall rating: no, I do not recommend it if you use the phone as a work tool. Fortunately, the phone has already been sold for 1000 zł. I have already bought a POCO X5 PRO and I am simply extremely happy to return to POCO, which lasts 8 hours and I have not burned myself once.

I have mixed feelings. Excellent for photography, but I already knew that since this is my third Pixel, after the 2xl and 4a 5g. Efficient and fast, the battery life is acceptable. On the other hand, it heats up noticeably quite often during use. Additionally, whoever designed its finish did not do a good job - it is incredibly slippery to hold, and you even have to be careful when putting it down because it can slide off and fall by itself. But the most annoying and unacceptable thing for a Google flagship is the distinct crackling during longer calls (over 10 minutes), which makes it very difficult, and sometimes impossible, to understand the person you are talking to. Enabling call assistance in the settings and background noise reduction does not help here. I have read about this issue, already reported by other users, and I also confirm it. It is better, if possible, to talk via Wi-Fi or briefly in normal calling mode ;) The smartphone, which I bought for less than 2,500 PLN, is acceptable, but it SHOULD be better. Previous Pixels I owned performed very well, at least in their basic functions (and calling IS a basic function), although each had some flaws. I will change this one for the 8 pro in some time, because it seems that it is much better there.

Never has any phone disappointed me so much. Overall, it is a decent device, quite solidly built and well-equipped. Purchased as a camera smartphone. Because that is mainly what it is. And at the same time, for me, this is the biggest failure. A camera smartphone and the lack of essential functions that are obvious in this type of equipment and available in devices for a quarter of its price. Lack of manual settings and access to more advanced photographic functions. This was the first experience with a phone directly from Google and certainly the last. For some reason, this is the policy of this company - omissions - similar to their first watch - it has a built-in pulse oximeter, but it cannot be used ???? This is not even a joke anymore. Fortunately, there are many excellent Chinese camera smartphones that not only provide many features, but not only improve them but even supplement them.

Google Pixel 7 Pro is a great surprise for me. After the moderately successful Pixel 6, which I did not purchase after reading opinions from the influential internet, I bought the [...] 7 Pro. I must admit that I was full of apprehension, which turned out to be groundless. Pixel 7 Pro is very wide. For me, this is a huge advantage because I have a very large hand. The 120 Hz screen is of very high quality. The optimization of Android and the interface itself are excellent. Everything operates very efficiently, without freezing, stuttering, or slowing down. Android is a Google product and it shows in this phone, but the best part is the main camera and here no iPhone can match it. It is outstanding. The phone is worth recommending. Google has learned its lesson after the unsuccessful Pixel 6.

I have been using only flagship phones for several years; recently I had an iPhone 14 plus and a Samsung 22 ultra, and both were simply better than the pixel. It might not even be due to the performance, because I have no complaints about the pixel in that regard, or the camera, as it also is not inferior. However, the build quality itself is very poor; immediately after removing it from the box, it does not feel solid. The phone is incredibly slippery, and a fall from 40 cm results in a shattered phone. Apple is extremely durable in this regard.

regarding pixel 7 pro I will write a very short review I am currently waiting for the third unit under warranty (once the lcd leaked on its own, twice an on off problem) my old samsung s9 I had for 3 years without problems, I am a bit discouraged because the warranty will end and no one will give me a new one anymore
