FAQ - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Hammer Boost LTE doesn’t have the option for inductive charging. Charging is only possible with a wired charger. Phones with inductive charging can be found using our advanced search.
Indeed, Hammer Boost LTE supports the use of wired headphones through a jack socket. Listening to music on this phone is also possible with Bluetooth headphones.

Software defect of the phone - the screen does not turn off. If automatic keypad locking is not enabled - the screen will remain lit continuously. If auto-locking is active, pressing any combination - other than the unlocking one - also results in the continuous illumination of the screen. It is strange that such critical errors are not noticed before the phone enters the market.
PS. An identical defect in two phones that entered the market at the same time: Hammer Boost LTE and Maxcom MM918 LTE - apparently, the allegedly Polish producers are merely brands for the same defective Chinese products.

Play Store - Grójec, 4 Niepodległości St - purchase of Hammer Boost LTE. Defects immediately... Back to the store on the 2nd day. Submission of the issue, but under warranty terms, meaning it will be sent for service. I asked about a consumer complaint - that the first 2 times are under warranty, and the 3rd time is a complaint (?). After 6 days, a call from the store saying it is ready for pickup. I go there, but there is nothing. A mistake. I ask about the service center in Wrocław. I call MPTech. Automated loop. Failure. Another call from Play, 12 days after the "mistake", saying it is ready for pickup. I confirm. Wanting the first and last names of the employees who came into possession of my data, I receive their IDs. In a conversation with the store manager, I heard that "he cannot be reckless with employee data"? The use of this word, which I had repeated at home and thought about. In Play, you can only verify that a person with such an ID works for them. Yet in the store, they wear name tags with their first and last names.
Service printout, Device condition: Visible signs of use (?). There was a replacement of the LCD and battery, and a software update. The man in the store wanted to keep the confirmation of the submission (?).
I go to return the phone - the battery lasts about a week, it does not even oscillate around 25 days. He did not want to accept that it was going for service again. I submit a withdrawal from the contract. He did not want to accept it. Eventually, he took it. He did not want to provide confirmation. Finally, he did. I submit a Withdrawal of consent for the processing of personal data. He added at the end of the visit that I should go to the Consumer Ombudsman. After 13 days, a response from Warsaw, quite brief and ambiguous. There was no phone number, no stamp, no signature. Conversation with the author - call the hotline... Another visit to the store to collect the cash - based on the letter. No. I can write a letter again, provide my bank account number?! I go to the Prosecutor's Office in Grójec > KPP Grójec > dismissal of proceedings. Due to the finding that the act does not contain the elements of a prohibited act?. I send another letter on August 21. Response from Play on October 4 to some report number from September 27?! They want data again: first name, last name of the number owner, phone number, PESEL, registered address!!!
UOKiK? Too weak for this.
UOKIK does not deal with individual private disputes; it is not that kind of institution. The lead related to the local consumer ombudsman's office was a good one - it is the only institution that can help in such a situation, although everything - as in any other case - depends on specific people and our approach to them. That is just how it is. (jf)

With this phone, you must clearly ask yourself what you need it for. For my previous rugged phone (Maxcom mm917), I could not find a replacement battery, so I had to look for another reinforced model.
ADVANTAGES:
+ Large battery.
+ Spare batteries are available.
+ There is a battery percentage indicator. (It does not work perfectly, but it provides a good overview.)
+ Clock (Clear on the display. It serves as a very good replacement for a wristwatch.)
+ Flashlight (Strong with quick access.)
+ USB-C (You charge it with the same cable as most smartphones.)
+ Design (It is easier to find in the grass than other black phones.)
+ SMS storage counter.
+ No internet access. (You are not under the illusion that an application like MiniOpera can perform any tasks.)
WADY:
- Contact selection (The search function is illogical and counter-intuitive.)
- SMS management (Limited storage for 200 messages. Scrolling is choppy rather than smooth. It is unclear whether the chronology is ascending or descending.)
- No image or photo zooming.
- Small lanyard eyelet (Only for a very thin string.)
- The clock does not sync the time from the network (A minor inconvenience. You have to set it manually after changing the SIM card. However, if you do this away from civilization and do not have another watch, it becomes complicated.)
- The navigation button frame around the center button is too narrow. (On the Maxcom mm917, they were slightly larger and the main button was concave, so it was not confused with the outer ones, whereas here everything is convex. Those millimeters make a difference.)
- Operating system (Oversimplified. The main sections seem designed for seniors, although this is not the case deeper into the menu. It would be better if the manufacturer returned to the proven Nokia-like classics.)

I evaluate the phone very positively. Truly solid. Unlike other Feature phones, it lacks unnecessary demo games that cannot be uninstalled or Internet browsers that only slow down the device or even cause it to stop responding without fulfilling their role at all, for example, the Nokia 800 tough. It supports VoLTE! Great volume and build quality, although it is better to apply a film to the display. Very powerful flashlight. Heavy, it feels secure in the hand. However, I found two downsides, though minor. 1. The SIM card fasteners are too delicate! 2. The clicking sound of the keys is slightly irritating. I use it as an alternative to a smartphone with high energy consumption during fishing trips. WORTH THE PRICE

The phone is very good, well-made for construction work or other tasks. It has MP3 and a radio (works without connecting headphones), and it is loud during calls and in its sounds. The flashlight is bright, and the battery lasts about a week with daily calls and text messages. Regarding the display staying lit, someone probably just received a defective unit or the phone had not been updated yet, because in my case this does not happen and it turns off normally. I recommend it for this price.
