This is a product of very poor quality. The first one expanded significantly after eight months. I received a second one, and after a year, the same thing happened. A friend also has this model, it is approaching one year of use, and the same thing is happening to his. I strongly advise against it.

I strongly advise against purchasing this phone. After 2 months, the supposedly armored glass cracked after a minor fall. After 1.5 years, the side rubbers peeled off and the battery swelled, which poses a risk of explosion. The service center offered to repair it for an additional fee of 480 PLN. I will never buy any Hammer phone ever again.

Hello.. I have been an owner of a HAMMER EXPLORER PRO for a year or maybe a little more.. I perform a specific type of work, namely I work on ships, so I can share how this phone performs, or rather, how it used to perform. I decided to write a review because the advertisements about it seem to be heavily exaggerated. Specifically, after six months of use in domestic conditions, meaning in my pocket, at home, or in the car on the dashboard as a navigation device, I can say that after being used in the car, the rubber coating started to peel off and permanent bubbles formed. This was due to the effects of the sun and temperature (I remind you that I am describing a rugged HAMMER EXPLORER PRO phone). Okay, I used it for two months like that, while in the meantime I looked for a service center to replace the housing and could not find one. I also did not find a new housing on the internet that I could buy for a service center to replace... Another thing, no service center wanted to take it on, and if they did, they would add a fee for breaking the screen because the screen must be removed when replacing the housing - so basically it was a complete disappointment. Okay, I worked around the system and peeled off that poor-quality rubber. Using a 3D printing pen that I took from my child, I applied black filament to the back housing... as for the appearance? A designer look - it is somewhat acceptable... Then it was time to go to the ship, so I put the phone in my pocket and left. And then it started... the first contact with salt water, meaning the phone fell into a ballast tank. Fortunately, the phone did not hit anything and fell directly into the water, so it was a gentle fall. Contact with salt water and slight dirt won against the phone. Currently, I am trying to somehow revive these remains, but I can already see that the screen does not light up and does not respond to touch. Some information is visible there, but generally, it is a failure. So if someone tells me this is a great phone, they are mistaken... In my opinion, a phone for 400 PLN would easily beat the HAMMER; at least one would be less upset because they would have spent less. That is my opinion.. The phone was in rice, etc., blown with an air duster and electric cleaner, and it is a failure... so basically, as another phone of this type, it did not work out for me, and before it, there was a supposedly great one with a thermal camera and it also did not work out when it came into contact with water...

Well, the price of this phone mainly covers its resistance to everything. Except that after a year, everything starts peeling off there. That whole rubber casing is simply coming away, and it has never even been submerged. Now it would certainly not survive that. The battery lasts longer than in other modern phones, that is a fact. But it should cost about half the price because after a year, you will either be walking around with a falling apart oddity and explaining to people what it is, or you have to buy a new one. Additionally, the touchscreen is weak and imprecise. It needs to be wiped often to function correctly. Before the Hammer, I had a Cat, which had already started to malfunction, but after two years of use, it was in better condition than this Hammer.

I have had this phone for a year and it has already been subject to warranty claims five times. Once they replaced it with a new one, the second time it swelled, the third time the screen stopped working, now they have replaced all components with new ones again, of course it is still the same, the phone does not work, the battery in the powerbank swelled, and they will probably replace it again, it is simply a disaster and a disgrace, I will not even mention it. Do not even go near this phone. The worst part is that the company is evading responsibility, they only replace and repair while waiting for the warranty to expire.

I have been a user for about 1.5 years. I do not recommend it to anyone. The phone freezes frequently. Poor quality photos. The rubber parts started peeling off after 3 months. After a year, the battery had to be charged 2 times a day. On cold days, the screen did not respond to touch. Highly inadequate for gaming. Currently, it has been at the service center for 9 weeks. The battery swelled and discolored the screen. They are considering whether to honor the warranty claim. Personally, I will avoid this company when purchasing my next device.

A phone for special tasks. I have been using it for 3 years. Drawbacks: the rubber peels off, the USB port does not always make contact (due to the peeled rubber). The phone has fallen hundreds of times (often from a ladder at a height of 2-3 m), I have washed it in a stream, under a tap, and it has been left in the rain. Nothing affects it. The specifications are mediocre; it is not a phone for taking photos. The camera is, to put it mildly, weak. But as equipment for work - ideal.

I do not recommend it, I have had the phone for a year, 2 repairs, first the screen failed then after a fall from a bedside table it was damaged in such a way that it kept turning on and off constantly, and it was supposed to be so durable.... Previously I also had an older Hammer model and it also ceased to function after falling from a pocket onto floor panels :( at home I thought it was a coincidence but it was not... A low-quality product and I do not recommend it.

I purchased this phone with my work in mind, specifically difficult conditions. The phone is a disaster, the touch screen is completely unpredictable; when it is in my pocket and becomes cold or damp, it is certainly impossible to operate, and it freezes. The camera is supposedly 48mpx, but it takes photos like a 15mpx Xiaomi. It is a waste of money; it would be better to buy another Android device and a case for 10 PLN, and it will last just as long.

I have had the standard Hammer Explorer for over two years. It has fallen many times, was immersed in hydraulic oil, was cleaned with brake cleaner, and the rubber did not detach. The camera is weak, which is a shame. It has never broken and the touch screen is fine. It happens that the fingerprint reader does not work, but very rarely. Generally, after more than two years, I have nothing to complain about.
