Technical specifications

A total failure, I bought two Hammer Explorer units:

1 - swollen battery and damaged display, warranty repair took 3 months, it is still frightening to use it, it overheats significantly while charging

2 - the main rear camera is not working - warranty rejected, moisture inside the phone was claimed (sic!).

Overall poor. I wanted to buy an ultra-durable phone, but the Xiaomi Pocophone I use simultaneously is much better. It freezes. Answering incoming calls often does not work, the speaker quality is poor (not for music, but for phone calls), and recently it started overheating while charging.
Gentlemen from myPhone! I use this equipment in "office" mode, and it is supposedly something for survival fans. I do not recommend it for such purposes because it is unreliable.
Additional notes on accessories:
- the car mount is of very poor quality because the phone is too heavy and falls out of it, and in the best case, the mount arm shakes excessively.
- external battery - it supposedly has another 5000 mAh, but it starts charging immediately after connection, which extends the operating time by only about 15-20%; I expected at least 50%, if not 100%. It is not worth attaching it permanently; it should be used traditionally as a power bank after the phone is discharged.
- the original Hammer cable, which has a showy appearance, broke after a year.

In summary, the myPhone team: either you are intentionally selling low-quality products in attractive packaging, or you have attempted a task that is far beyond your capabilities. I suggest first producing budget, non-system phones for seniors to gain experience, because this project is definitely too ambitious for you.

Be careful with phones of this brand. If you decide to purchase one of their models, it is best to thoroughly research that specific model beforehand if possible. My Hammer Explorer Pro... well, it left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, these were things that were difficult to determine for this model through information published online.
1. Extremely poor microphone and speakers - the latter are acceptable, you can listen to them reasonably well. However, audio recording... it is truly unfortunate, I will not even describe it further. Extremely poor quality for a phone in this price range. Such a voice recorder might be found in a telephone for 60-100 PLN.
2. Software. One of the biggest shortcomings of this phone. The manufacturer, to put it mildly, did not perform well here. Since the moment of purchase, there have been no updates from the manufacturer (and there was plenty to improve in their software), because for example, the application for operating the camera is essentially of very poor quality - firstly, there is no access to manual control of parameters such as ISO, secondly, the flash does not work either when taking photos or when recording. Perhaps they have solved this problem in newer models, but it is worth checking before buying. Additionally, there are no applications for documents such as a notepad, etc. (although this is just a minor detail, as you can install third-party software). Furthermore, the software was written in such a way that it either does not change the screen display position at all (e.g., by 180 degrees), or it... LOCKS it! This can be noticed when exiting programs to the menu. For literally 0.25 - 0.5 seconds at most, the menu screen will be displayed in a horizontal position. Only for the software to immediately force a return to the vertical position...
3. Charging problems - either you have a high-quality cable, or it is a failure. The port is very selective in this regard. You will not charge it with an ordinary cable (unless this is just a manufacturing defect in my case - I do not know).
4. The battery itself (or rather the system, as it is likely again a software issue) can also behave strangely at a low charge level - firstly, while from 80% to 20% charge the level will change steadily, gradually and predictably, from 15% to 1% it can unexpectedly drop within 3 hours, even in standby mode (without any additional load). We are talking about a new battery, of course. On the other hand, once it drains to 0% and we want to charge it, it takes an incredibly long time to "climb" to those 15% - such a paradox...
5. The camera, although it produces recordings in Full HD resolution, its quality leaves much to be desired, even though the files are quite large.

On the other hand, the rest of the features are generally fine, quite consistent with what can be expected based on the description and list of technical parameters of this phone:
1. It is indeed resistant to drops and water. Mine fell from a height of 1.5 meters onto a hard surface, so it is difficult to call that a worthy test for this model, but it would almost certainly withstand more - you can see that from the construction.
2. Features like the laser or AQS work fine.
3. The processor is quite fast - you can browse both the internet and documents smoothly and without stuttering. Programs like WPS also work quite efficiently.
4. 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of memory with the option of expansion via a microSD card are very effective.
5. The display is also not bad - Full HD with decent brightness.
6. The 48 Mpx camera takes decent photos for this resolution.

I have been a user for about 1.5 years. I do not recommend it to anyone. The phone often freezes. Poor quality photos. The rubber elements started peeling off after 3 months.
after a year, the battery had to be charged twice a day. On cold days, the screen did not respond to touch. For games, it is completely unsuitable. It has currently been at the service center for 9 weeks. The battery swelled and discolored the screen. They are considering whether to accept the warranty claim.
Personally, I will stay as far away from this company as possible when purchasing my next device.
