I love this phone :-) I have had it since 2021, purchased used. It works reliably without any lag, it operates very fast (I have the 6/128 version), and it takes beautiful photos with both the rear camera and for selfies. It has perfect dimensions and a great display. I bought the same one for my boyfriend and he is also very pleased. Mine has fallen many times and still works without any problems. I recommend it :-D

I have been using this phone for 4 years and I do not plan to change it for now. It has never frozen. It is remarkably resistant to drops, even though it falls on average once a day. There is a small crack on the screen after falling onto asphalt during fast cycling, but the crack is on the side and does not affect usage. It takes beautiful photos, better than most smartphones. The only drawback is that the USB port broke after 3 years. However, it can be charged inductively, so it did not change much for me. I will only change it when it stops working, and so far there is no sign of that.

The phone was purchased in mid-2019. My brother used it until 2022 because he bought a new one, and then it lay unused on a shelf for over 2 years. It turned on after charging. Now it has approximately 925 cycles and 61% (the AccuBattery app, if I am not mistaken). The battery life might not be the best, but it is difficult for me to accept this. I simply threw it and what happened? Only a corner is slightly cracked, as well as the back panel, but that was due to my brother's accident on some rocks. On mobile data, it lasts about 2.5 hours under favorable conditions, and over 3 hours on Wi-Fi. I only have to use inductive charging because the port is somewhat corroded, but that is not an issue. Perhaps it charges a bit slower. It would be difficult for me to decide to replace it, but I will probably have to do so soon.

This phone is an exceptional device ;) I bought it in August 2019 and 6 years of its use are just passing. I charge the battery once a day, the photos are still excellent, and the operating speed is also at a high level. Over the years, it has had contact with water, sand, dust, and mud, and has survived dozens of drops. It was only in May of this year, after falling from about a meter onto an openwork slab, that the display matrix was damaged, causing white lines to run through the middle of the screen and slightly obscure the displayed content. If it were not for this incident, I would not be looking for a newer model. Now it is difficult for me to choose its successor because it has established a very high standard.

My opinion is very positive regarding this phone. The display is excellent, the colors are vivid, and the brightness in the sun is also great. I have had the phone for 2 years and the battery performance remains as good as when it was new. It lasts two full days, and about 20% remains at night. Charging takes approximately 45 minutes. The cameras are excellent with nice colors, and if someone finds it insufficient, they can be enhanced. The video stabilization is perfect, with no vibrations. 128GB is more than enough for me. The only thing I can complain about is the lack of a 3.5 mini jack. However, I forgive this. Despite several years having passed, this phone even beats current ones.

Great phone. I bought it in April 2026 on Vinted for 200 zł, replaced the back cover, and it works very well. BOE screen. The battery lasts so long that I disconnect it at 6 AM and the next day at 3:00 PM it has about 10%, which is simply a sensational result for a 7-year-old flagship (5 hours of Screen on Time easily). The cameras are excellent, the 5x zoom performs very well. The EMUI 12 interface is smooth and intuitive to use. I have many photos, games, and applications on this phone, and it has not stuttered once. I recommend it; even now it will feel better than phones up to 1500 zł.

I have had this phone since its market launch. It has endured a great deal. The first cracks only appeared in 2022; before that, it remained remarkably durable despite being dropped. It does not freeze, and all applications work without any issues. It operates faster than my wife's new phone. It possesses a vast number of functions and additions that are missing in newer phones. Reverse NFC helps in programming it as a key. The photos still look amazing. I intend to replace it only because of the shattered screen. I will likely purchase the same phone again.

I bought this phone in 2025 and the battery in this phone holds up very well for an 8-year-old phone, the display is great, the photos are very good, waterproof IP68, maybe the performance is not at the highest level but it is good - it does not slow down, I would say it is extremely reliable (similar to the P30 Pro), one would almost want to say "break down" because it would be appropriate for its age but it does NOT, I recommend it from the heart.

I bought this phone right after its release in 2018 and so far I have not known a better one.
It does not freeze, the battery still lasts, the image quality is beautiful and it takes phenomenal photos (especially the macro mode is admirable).
I attempted to switch to the Samsung S20 (about half a year of use) and I returned to my faithful Huawei.
I do not know what I will do if this phone stops working.

The phone is excellent. It is 2025 and I am still using it. Six years of intensive use, gaming, work, underwater photos, and it is still working. The phone was ahead of its generation. If it were not for the US ban on Google services, Huawei would have dominated the market a long time ago. Look at the Pura 80. It is another masterpiece that surpasses the competition.
