I have just managed to purchase a brand new P20 Pro after using the Huawei P10 for over four years. Everything about this smartphone is beautiful. Everything except for one thing: the terrible quality of the sound. After the P10, I have returned to calls with the quality of rotary dial telephones. It is a nightmare.

I have owned the phone for 3.5 years and I am delighted with it. I have had many phones and they lasted a maximum of two years with me; sometimes I had to change them after just one year. This one is not only durable but also performs very well in terms of hardware. It has never frozen and still works smoothly. Only the battery is a bit weak now (it lasts from morning until night with normal use) and the charging port requires its original charger.

I have had the phone since April 2019. It is currently the year 2025 and the phone works very well. It was purchased when it was a high-end model, but I am not a technology enthusiast and if something works, I use it and do not replace it with subsequent new releases. There have been zero malfunctions with this phone. I only replaced the glass in the rear camera twice-because despite the case, this camera protrudes and the phone rests on that glass, which is then reflected in poor quality photos. To prevent scratches, I attached tempered glass protectors available on Allegro, but sometimes I forgot about them and then the original glass was scratched. Unfortunately, the phone recently fell so awkwardly that the screen glass broke and now I am considering purchasing a new one. Although I regret it, because this one performs well, it also looks like new and not at all like a phone from a previous era, but like all these current smartphones. Therefore, I may still decide to replace only the glass. Overall, I am very satisfied with it.

I have had this phone almost since its launch – it was a Christmas gift in 2018. It is a timeless model and, honestly, the best one I have had so far. It is now 2024, and it still works – it does not freeze and does not overheat. The phone has been used intensively, for example, as navigation on long routes and for two years also for work – software development. After all these years of use, it is obvious that the battery is no longer as strong, but it is sufficient for a day of use. I want to change the phone because the USB-C connector has worn out and, unfortunately, it is difficult to charge. I am researching currently available phones, and to avoid a decrease in the quality of the device, I am looking in the 2,000+ price range... If it were not for the fact that the phone is simply old and lacks updates, I would recommend it to everyone.

I have been using it for 4 years and I am very satisfied. I still feel no need to replace it with something new, everything works well. I like the fingerprint reader and the associated button the most. After all these years, the phone has not aged and still works smoothly, the only downside is currently the battery which only lasts 1 day and the fact that after so many drops it has survived, a corner of the screen and the back cracked slightly, but even that does not motivate me to change it for another one.

In my opinion, the phone is quite weak for the price of 3500 zł. Now in 2024, it is average. The pros in 2024 are:

Cons:

-only 285,000 points in Antutu, which is an extremely low score for a flagship at such a price
In summary, in 2024 it is more suitable as a backup phone because it is no longer suitable for gaming

I have had this model since it was introduced to the market, which is 5 years. No other phone (not counting Nokia ;) has stayed with me for so long. The phone really continues to operate smoothly and I do not feel the need to replace it with another one. Only the battery has passed its period of peak performance. Aside from that, everything is a positive feature - memory, fingerprint reader, durability against drops.
