I would like to respond to the last opinion and the rebuttal. It is true that this is not a reliable device for diving at 100 m, but there is always one condition we should keep in mind: spending the whole day in the sun in Egypt and then cooling the equipment in cold water is not a favorable combination (that is how I damaged my GoPro camera). Of course, the watch can be used as a backup if you have a high quality computer. Therefore, I will be surprised if they accept the warranty claim ? they will certainly realize that you subjected the watch to extreme temperature changes.
