I have owned the phone for 2 months and to be honest, I have mixed feelings.
The phone is good for an older person (75 years old), simple and legible. Unfortunately, the phone has several flaws because of which I would not buy it a second time. Firstly, the speaker and ringtones and few options to choose from, secondly, the memory in this phone is inadequate. The last two flaws are micro USB (in 2023?) The phone unfortunately does not work with any hands-free kit (checked in 3 cars )

The build quality is very good for MaxCom. The option to enlarge the font is useful for visually impaired individuals. For the hard of hearing, the volume is weak; the ability to permanently enable the hands-free mode would be useful, as only then is it acceptable. The radio playing without headphones is a plus. The flashlight is a micro LED, or actually a nano LED, which does not fulfill its purpose because it is so weak. The camera might as well not exist if it is to be so poor. For people who only need calling and texting plus functions such as a calendar or calculator, this phone can be recommended. Initially, the battery lasted very well, 3-5 days with frequent calling. Other than that, it is a rather poor device; some Nokia or BlackBerry models from 15 years ago are better. The low price is a plus, but from experience, I know that MaxCom devices do not even last two years of use. Of the models so far, this one is the best in terms of quality.

I had two: the first MaxCom MM244 and the one recently sold under the designation MM244 SE, which differed only in the charging plug; the previous one used microUSB, and the latest one used USB-C. The only serious flaw in these models is the display; in the first one, it failed after two years, and in the second, after two weeks. Maxcom is actually the lowest quality Chinese product, with an unprecedented failure rate. I definitely do not recommend it!

It is fine, and for this price, it is indeed a good deal! Technologically, it is also fine, it has plenty of memory and a Dual Sim slot.

I recommend the purchase. A good old-style phone. Durable, with a powerful battery and essential features.

Good phone, simple to use, with a housing resistant to drops, it does not break down, good for a senior.

A decent phone. Primarily for seniors. Simple to use, with well-functioning features.
