Technical specifications

This model joined my collection because of its low price (I bought it for 4 PLN) and after looking it over, I am leaving a review.

The phone is massive for a classic keypad model; if someone likes a large display, they will be satisfied. As a product of the MaxCom company, it surprised me with its solid build – there was even space for a metal battery cover! It is surprising that it is not made entirely of plastic. Its appearance differs significantly from typical phones designed for the elderly and the poor quality hardware commonly available as "classic" phones.

Regarding functionality, the phone has an acceptable 2MP camera, Bluetooth, and includes Opera Mini and Dorado browsers for browsing simpler websites. To this day, the phone does not freeze while using Opera Mini, unlike some Nokia phones, even models like the N82 or E90. There is approximately 32MB of built-in memory – enough for many photos taken with this phone, as well as contacts and SMS messages. If someone wants to listen to music, without expanding the memory with a microSD card, it would be better to stick to MIDI files. The manufacturer also included a notes application and games: Sokoban, Snake, and Tetris. Internet browsing uses 3G technology, which is being phased out – I recommend using the phone with Plus/Play network cards, or Orange as a last resort. T-Mobile no longer has 3G.

In summary – a great phone, but it does not fit its time. Released 7 years earlier, for example in 2008, it could in my opinion have competed with many flagship models. For lovers of classic phones, however, it is excellent, and if someone has had experience with devices such as MaxCom MM720BB, MM430BB, MM560BB, MM432BB, MM462BB etc. – they will be surprised by the quality offered by this model :)
