I am delighted with my Nokia! I would not trade it for any other phone. It is simply SENSATIONAL.

I bought the Nokia 5 six years ago. It still works flawlessly. The battery lasts 3-4 days with moderate (normal) use. If someone spends the entire day looking at the screen and has everything turned on, it is normal that the battery is depleted after one day. Over these 6 years, it has fallen dozens of times onto concrete or tiles without a case and nothing happened. There are only paint chips on the casing. In my opinion, it is a very durable and simple smartphone for people who are looking for something for calling, writing SMS or MMS messages, and browsing the internet. The navigation also works correctly. A problem with the charging port occurred only once, but only because it was clogged with debris. After cleaning, it charges normally to this day. I do not intend to change it for any other as long as this one works.

I bought this phone in 2018, against all odds and the trend for other brands. I thought - I will go back to my roots. I do not regret it. The phone served me for 5 years and if I had only replaced the charging port, it would probably still work for a while. Unfortunately, current times and constant updates to Android and applications mean that this phone is simply slowly becoming obsolete.

If you do not expect miracles from a phone, I recommend it. Excellent and strong screen. People buy these low-quality Chinese products and walk around with broken screens that often crack on their own, but here, the phone fell several times and nothing happened. Not a scratch, not a crack; after some time, I stopped using a screen protector.

The only drawback is the paint peeling off the back cover, but if you use any case, it is not a problem at all.

I am switching to the Nokia G22; I hope it will also serve me for several years. Allegedly, Nokia is resuming production in Finland and other European countries, so they should be even better.
Clarification: HMD, which is the current owner of the Nokia brand in the mobile market (since it was released by Microsoft), is a Chinese company. The place of registration, as well as the figureheads in positions, really do not matter. It not only produces in China (actually currently probably even in Vietnam), but it IS Chinese. This does not prevent one from being satisfied with its products. However, it is worth being aware of this, if only not to accuse others of buying "low-quality Chinese products" when one is buying them oneself. Regards. (jf)

I own two Nokia 5 phones. I bought both of them six years ago. One is the TA-1024, and the other is the TA-1053. The first one is a single-card model, while the second one is a dual-sim. The phones have survived many falls over the years, especially in the car where they tended to fall out of my pants pockets under the seat, hitting the seat rail, which could be heard loudly. They fell onto carpet, parquet, floor panels, tiles, and concrete, and the screen or glass never cracked on either of them. They are protected only by glass applied to the screen because I do not like cases; therefore, there are some scratches or scuffs on the metal casing. Neither has ever frozen, turned off, or overheated. Everything works ok: internet, navigation, calls, and in my opinion, the photos are also ok. Both have been working perfectly from the start, for six years now. The battery in both lasts 3-4 days with average phone usage, despite being six years old. For me, they are ideal phones and free of any defects, perhaps because I do not play unintelligent games on them, as I have a console for that.
