I have very fond memories of this model. I bought a used one in good condition, replaced the front panel with a WHITE one (original), and installed a powerful battery that came with a separate (larger) back cover, which covered the entire back because the battery was almost three times thicker. I did not have any problems with this phone because it was a very simple device with few features; there was nothing that could break. It was very small and light for those times. I liked it because, with the standard battery, it fit into a shirt pocket, which was very important for men since there was nowhere to keep larger phones during the summer. Very good signal. Unfortunately, it had some downsides: the display was literally taken from the Nokia 5110 (poor resolution, very weak backlight). Another disadvantage was the SMS memory; the phone stored up to 30 SMS in the internal memory and the rest on the SIM card. The memory filled up very quickly, and messages had to be deleted. This was a huge disadvantage, as was the limitation of SMS to a maximum of 160 characters. Well, those were the times; today, due to such flaws, it cannot be used, although I still have a few units in a box. I tried, but... unfortunately, if you receive even about 30 SMS from friends a day, the phone can cause quite a mess; it divides every larger SMS into parts of exactly 160 characters and displays them in a jumbled order, starting from the end! Reading such an SMS was a mystery back then! And a disadvantage of these older Nokia phones (all of them!!) is the fact that they are simply too quiet (speakers, ringtones). To my ear, it is at most 25% of what a modern smartphone provides, which is definitely too little to hear the person you are talking to in the noise of the street.

This was my first phone bought with one of my first salaries :D I remember that I had to travel from Bielsko to Katowice to get it because they were not available closer. The phone was wonderful and I remember it very fondly.
