Technical specifications

I have had the phone for a year, and within a budget of up to 2000 PLN, it is a very good option. The specifications are sufficient, making the phone efficient even in demanding applications. The battery is also a positive feature (after 344 cycles, the battery health is 95%). I recommend it if one finds a good offer.

This is my first smartphone from Xiaomi. I have always been a loyal owner of Samsung Galaxy S series phones (for many, many years). Now I have practically the same thing as a Samsung but for 2 thousand less, and with better parameters and a great battery. I am shocked by the progress Chinese companies have made in the world of electronics and automotive over the last few years. The Poco F7 PRO phone works incredibly smoothly, applications open very quickly, and the extensive personalization options of the HyperOS 2 overlay positively surprised me. It has built-in AI functions that are in no way inferior to those I had in my Samsung (Seriously). I sold my Samsung because I was becoming extremely frustrated with the battery performance and the still archaic charging speed compared to Xiaomi. The phone does not have wireless charging, but I decided that I would no longer need it, because of the 15 WATTS in the Samsung :). Why? Because I wake up for work in the morning and I have, say, 9% battery. I connect it to the original 120 W Xiaomi charger, which I bought together with the phone on promotion for 49 zł, and the phone charges from 9 to 100% in 32 minutes. The battery lasts about 30 hours under intense use (even sharing the internet for several hours). I tested everything. Besides that, very good display quality in full sun (everything is visible). AoD works in such a way that it can display notifications with app icons, but you have to choose a theme wisely so that it displays the minimum information: clock and date. Someone might say it drains the battery - well yes, but I checked it after turning off this function (wisely personalized) and I only gain 13 minutes more battery time :), so it is not a disaster. As for the issue of ads that other users warn about, I must say honestly that I have no idea what they are talking about. I have no ads!!! I haven't seen a single one since the first configuration. During the first launch, you have to uncheck the appropriate options, then watch any video on YouTube showing the 3 steps to get rid of ads even better by unchecking things in various places and going into the settings of several "Mi" applications and unchecking "do not show ads". I repeat: there are no ads. Call quality is perfect, people I talk to say it feels as if I were standing next to them. GPS works after a few seconds, it is accurate. Payments without any problems. WiFi, internet sharing is perfect. I always look for details and there is nothing to complain about. The main camera is really okay. Recording in 4k 60 frames with OIS works very well. I don't take selfies because I don't live only for myself, so the camera is useless to me. IRDA works without problems. One thing shocked me, a small gesture of personalization towards the user. It's about individual adjustment of the refresh rate for applications. You can choose a fixed 120 Hz in the settings. The problem was that applications like YouTube or Netflix, even Google Photos, persistently lowered the refresh rate to 60 Hz (as the AI from Google and OpenAI explained, this is normal in these applications due to the battery and because movies are at a maximum of 60 frames). This resulted in worse visual comfort while browsing, which led to lags. I spent several hours on this, but I succeeded. Gemini and ChatGPT helped me (I use them daily and am concerned by how well it works, seriously, and it's only 2025). ChatGPT even sent me a ready-made script with a .bat extension to run through the developer application with USB debugging enabled. But it was enough to look deeper into the phone settings and it turned out that there is an option to change the refresh rate for individual applications, and there I enabled this support for those apps. Now it is a fixed 120 Hz. I haven't seen anything like this in any phone. Android 16 and the HyperOS 2.2 overlay are coming out soon, and I am curious what they will bring. The issue of the phone heating up. The phone heated up during the first few days, but I would rather say it was just warm at times. Now I have the impression that it is much better, as if the phone learned usage patterns and adjusted itself. Just as the battery learns and then optimization occurs. The fact is that under the hood is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 :), so it has the right to be warm, but it's not bad, rather, in my opinion, it's good. The fingerprint reader works very quickly because it is ultrasonic. In my S24 FE, I had to wait and read the information on the phone "hold longer :)". In Samsung, you have to choose a Plus or Ultra series option for 4 or 5 thousand. In summary, I am incredibly satisfied with this model. For about 2 thousand with such parameters and such a good battery, charging, and AI functions on par with Samsung (the rest is supplemented by the Gemini implementation in the system), it is a knockout for Samsung or Apple. I don't understand the excessive admiration because someone has an Apple. Friends or family say that everything works perfectly there. Well, I would say it does here too, only for 2 or 3 times cheaper. One could say that wealthy people can do as they please, but I can also afford an Apple, but I don't like it when someone forces me to use outdated technology by charging twice a day for 4, 5, maybe even 6 thousand złoty. A marketing absurdity or a collective hallucination :).

I have it and I recommend it, for several years I have been using phones from Xiaomi, I always used Poco from the X series, now I have the F and I do not regret it, I bought it in May on a popular platform for less than 1800 with the charger already in the box, for now it is my best phone and I do not need a phone for 4000 that has the same parameters as this one, there we pay for the brand
