Hello, I have this phone and it has an FM radio :) I recommend it because, although it is a year old, it is still excellent.

A lot has been described here. But I have not seen anyone address such an important matter as the problem with reading PDF files. Since I have a company and need to have quick access to files, this is a huge problem for me.

NEW FINDINGS. I will join the discussion. I am not a supporter of conspiracy theories, but some facts cannot be ignored. I will mention the term "light bulb conspiracy." If anyone is interested, there is plenty of information available. This phenomenon has been known for probably 100 years. Returning to the topic, I see the situation repeating itself. POCO X3 Pro purchased in September 2021. Apart from a few incidents of battery heating (it would get hot in several seconds, then return to normal after a few minutes), occasional system freezes (lasting a few seconds), and slow restarts in recent months (taking 2-3 minutes), the phone performed well. A few days ago (which is 2 years and a few weeks after purchase), while browsing the internet, the screen turned gray, then black, and the phone stopped responding. Emergency startup, restart, attempted reset - all without success. When connected to a laptop, it is recognized like others have reported, as a USB device without an operating system. Following advice found online (I can provide the link if needed), I installed the Qualcomm driver. More information about the device appeared, indicating it was a specific USB device rather than a generic one. Further attempts to start it were unsuccessful. I connected it to a charger - not even the battery icon appeared. I decided to use a method known for batteries, which involves putting it in the freezer for a few hours. I know this is controversial, but it worked slightly. That is, after removing and thawing the phone, pressing the power button caused a black battery icon with a flashing lightning bolt to appear on the screen. As can be seen, the problem is likely related to power; the battery is in such a state that even when connected to a charger, it cannot provide adequate power to the phone. I will continue to try, but this reminds me of old stories regarding HP printers and mysterious chips that disabled the device after a certain period of use, usually a few weeks after the warranty expired. Finally, I will return to my conspiracy theory. Just moments before the failure, I was talking to my wife about new phones, specifically the desire to change her phone (she currently has a very good Redmi Note 9 Pro). After a few minutes of such considerations and browsing offers online, the phone died. A coincidence - I think not. It has been clear to most for a long time that smartphones eavesdrop on us. A classic example is when I talk to friends about fishing, and shortly after, advertisements for equipment, rods, and reels appear for everyone. I will try to keep fighting. I already have the applications and a clean ROM to upload, but in light of the new observations regarding the battery, I do not know if it makes sense. It would not be a problem if it were not for the fact that about 2-3% of the phone's content is extremely necessary to me, including photos of a car repair and photographic documentation of a claim. I will certainly change my approach to using a phone as the primary device in my daily life. Modern phones basically offer no chance of avoiding trouble in such a case, unlike a laptop, where the possibilities for data recovery, though not unlimited, are much greater. I will only add that after connecting to the laptop and pressing the power button (for about 10-15 seconds), something happens with the phone; it somehow turns on and off, although nothing happens on the screen, because the laptop makes the sound typically heard when connecting and disconnecting a device to a USB port (that specific chime). This does not change the fact that nothing can be done with the phone, and my only goal now is to access the memory. Of course, this is a consequence of not making a backup, but I tried to do it several times and it always ended in failure, so I eventually gave up. By the way, perhaps someone could help access the memory; is there some connector there, perhaps there are clever devices for this, or maybe a way to connect the power directly. I am willing to disassemble the broken device just to recover the data.

I have been using it for less than a year. I chose it because I wanted something to last for several years, because:
- an alternative OS is currently available for it - Lineage OS, so I assume that even when xiaomi stops supporting it, I will switch to the alternative one
- it has a huge reserve of computing power
- it has a new type of memory (relatively new and an excellent option in its price category)
- the cameras are quite satisfactory for my needs. I recommend installing GCam, because sometimes the Google application for taking photos performs better than the default one. It must be installed manually.
- it has a large battery, it lasts me about 2 days, but I charge it more often for its longevity.
- it has expandable memory
- Audio jack, ir blaster (which with the appropriate application works like a remote control for a DSLR camera)
- quite good stereo speakers
- it does not overheat during normal use and during charging, so the battery will last longer
- it has a high repairability score (although the screen must be heated to remove it)
- it is a fairly popular model, so it has high availability of accessories and, hopefully, spare parts in the future.

I can complain about:
- the screen that turns on and off by itself after a long conversation while holding the phone to the ear
- indeed, sometimes the screen is too dim and the brightness adjustment to the surroundings is not very accurate. From what I have seen, it cannot be adjusted manually, i.e., increasing the automatic brightness
- sometimes the fingerprint reader fails to register
- my choice, but it is a pity it does not have OLED, well, for this price it is still excellent.
- the default camera application could have a better layout of functions because sometimes when trying to focus on something on the side, one clicks on options, but it is enough to shift the frame.
- blue light filter - I use the Twilight application for this and it sometimes has problems on this phone, but they can be resolved.

For people who own this phone - I recommend reducing the animation speed to the minimum in the options, then the phone works more efficiently when navigating the system.

I used the phone for over 2 years and 3 months as long as it remained functional. One day, following a conversation, the screen froze (bright with colorful patterns) and then shut down. It was impossible to restart it. A specific diagnosis has not been made yet, but after an inspection and a lack of connection with the phone, it was determined that the motherboard does not start (I do not know, perhaps it will turn out to be the processor, as in other cases). Despite the flaws it has, I was satisfied and spoke highly of it. I would have posted a positive review, but from what I am reading, mine is not the only case that stopped working after 2 years. It was fast, although after about 2 years (perhaps also due to the memory being filled to 150 GB out of 256 GB), it began to operate more slowly. The GPS was somewhat inaccurate from the start (an offset of several dozen meters and during navigation, the arrow was often pointed in the opposite direction to the direction of travel). The battery was good; considering the number of applications I used, it lasted a long time (usually a whole day; with minimal application use, I believe it would have easily lasted 2 days). I also have a reservation regarding the recorded sound, especially from a close distance; it does not resemble the actual sound at all. Despite everything, I feel inclined to buy the new Poco X5 model if I had more certainty that it would not fail after 2 years; however, I cannot find user reviews after such a period of time yet.

I own the 6/128GB version in blue. I have been using the smartphone for over two years, and about a month before the warranty expired, the motherboard failed – just like that. It turned off and did not turn on again; I sent it to CCS, and they replaced the motherboard within a week. Generally, I am satisfied with the smartphone; it operates very quickly even after two years. Regarding the MIUI interface, I like it. However, I do not like the ubiquitous advertisements in the system, though they can be disabled. But in some applications, it is not possible, such as in Music, Mi Video, and the Game Center. VoLTE and VoWiFi work inconsistently – sometimes they do and sometimes they do not, but mostly they work. I could not activate this service on the POCO; only after I moved the SIM card from Play to an old Samsung and activated the code did the service start, and then I moved the card back. On the previous motherboard, the NFC module functioned better, as payments always went through; on the board I have now, the phone sometimes cannot connect to the terminal. As for the photos, they turn out nice only on a clear day with plenty of light; at night, they are simply poor. Personally, I always replace my smartphone every 3 years. I hope the board does not fail for another year. Playing games further increases the likelihood that the smartphone will fail sooner. These phones probably fail due to overheating.

After reading various opinions and reviews, I decided to buy the phone because I previously had the POCO F1. At first, like any new phone, it worked well. Until... The first very unpleasant surprise was the system. Their overlays are very unpolished and it is immediately apparent. Instead of having an icon from a given application on the notification bar, a simple square or dot appears (depending on the shape of the application from which we receive the notification). What hurts and annoys the most is the most popular blue messenger. There are simply no words for how it works on this overlay. Instead of filling the screen to the edges, the chat bubble is simply a rectangle with large gaps from the edges of the screen. When we try to write a message or send it, we may hit the screen "under the application" and the chat automatically closes. The keyboard, which we cannot configure completely, is also not well thought out. If someone types quickly on it, they may accidentally press settings and close the entire chat or, even worse, accidentally send some image, etc. In conclusion, I do not recommend this phone despite such specifications because the overlay is very unpolished and one can get very upset with this phone and simply want to throw it.

I will put it this way: immediately after purchasing the phone, everything works (and worked) very well .. However, after about 4 or 5 months, things started to get strange and unpleasant; sometimes there were freezes, sometimes a restart would not help and it was necessary to restart it several times. Well, that is how it is. There were instances of screen flickering, the smartphone was at the service center 3 times under warranty, and in the second year after the 4th repair, it was replaced with a new one, also with a warranty, so I used it for over a year and a half more. It is mid-range equipment, something average, so for that price it is TOLERABLE, but I would not buy it a second time, although it was only slightly annoying in this newer (perhaps improved) version. Overall, the device gave the impression of a "very Chinese, plastic, toy-like" smartphone, and therefore it did not feel like a mid-range smartphone, but rather a budget one. However, in terms of operation over these few years, it was not the worst and presented a good PRICE/QUALITY ratio; when it was new, it could be relatively recommended, but now rather not. I do not know about the newer models from this brand, but one must be careful with mid-range devices from China.

The phone was bought a little over 2 years ago. Less than a week ago, a situation almost identical to those described here occurred- during the use of the phone, a gray screen appeared and it shut down. I managed to start it after some time- it worked normally until the Facebook application was launched. After that, the phone did not want to turn on again. After connecting it to the charger, somehow the battery dropped from 80% to 30%.. as a test, I left the phone on; it was in this state for a day and a half- I launched all applications except Facebook- it worked flawlessly. After the first shutdown, I performed a factory reset; I thought the application might be old and I would update it- after entering the Play Store, typing "Facebook" and clicking "update", the phone ceased to function again. Since then, I have not touched it; I do not have the strength for it. Fortunately, I purchased additional insurance, which was not cheap and covers "breakdowns" for up to 3 years. When I am in Poland, I intend to return it under warranty... otherwise, the phone performed excellently, I did not have much to complain about, and it was constantly used for gaming etc..

Hello, I bought the phone in Poland for about 1200 PLN. I have had many phones, but I have no complaints about this one. I am 71 years old and it has everything that is necessary for me. The phone meets expectations. It charges quickly, the battery lasts me from 3 to 4 days. The build quality is excellent, it has not disappointed me in any way yet. When I read these reviews, I simply find it difficult to tolerate. People find fault with various and strange things. Nothing prevents you from buying phones from 4 thousand upwards, and you still will not have everything in a phone, because they have not manufactured such a one yet. It is sad to read such reviews that harm people, because I am very satisfied, greetings to everyone.
Bad or good reviews do not harm people. They help them make a choice. Smartphones can be different, user needs are different, and technical experience is different.
