I purchased the POCO X4 Pro smartphone in April 2022. In July 2022, while running (in my opinion, during normal use), the smartphone stopped working. I sent it to a service center, where they found liquid on the motherboard, as a result of which the warranty was not honored. This smartphone has an IP53 water resistance rating, which means that prolonged contact with water or dust can cause permanent damage to the device. The question is, what does the word "prolonged" mean.
In my opinion, something like this should not happen in a device for such an amount.
I advise athletes against purchasing this smartphone!!!
Besides that, the 108 Mpix resolution camera on this POCO X4 Pro provided worse photo quality than the 64 Mpix on the Redmi Note 9 Pro.
Generally speaking, the POCO X4 Pro is a product of poor quality!!!
I advise against the purchase!!!

Hello, Poco X4 Pro 8/256 bought in August. The problem was a slightly flickering screen on dark backgrounds, almost unnoticeable, and that was its only flaw. On 26.12.2022, I switched to the Belgium region, an update appeared, and they fixed all the issues in this area. The phone runs fast, nothing stutters, the screen has great colors, it is loud, and the battery is sensational.

Decent phone. It has a quite decent camera, 256GB of memory and currently the HyperOS system, which updates automatically and works without issues. Mobile payments also work well; I have not noticed anything wrong. I bought it in December 2022.
Any flaw? Maybe one. The proximity sensor turns the screen on too quickly when the phone is moved several centimeters away from the ear and then it does not re-engage correctly, which can cause random applications to be launched with the ear during a call.

I agree with Jamutad: "it supposedly has an always on display but only for 10 seconds; for me, it is essentially non-existent". In this context, I do not understand the absence of a notification LED; sound notifications only solve the problem in certain situations. The FM radio is of poor quality; it does not receive many stations even when the signal strength is very good. I particularly cared about these features; otherwise, the device is acceptable.

Even considering the fact that it is not a smartphone focused on photography, the photo quality is abysmal. On one hand, a sensor with a high pixel density of a very mediocre class, instead of a good quality sensor with a sufficient 16 megapixels, on the other hand, a wide-angle camera with too few pixels and a sensor that is too small. One would want it to be a worthy successor to previous models, but unfortunately it is not and will not be.

Poco x4 pro 5g takes nice photos even at night. You just need to go into the camera settings and select Pro mode, then change the ISO to 6400. On a sunny day ISO 100, on a cloudy one ISO 200.
