It was supposed to be for a short while, which is why I bought it without reading reviews. I have had it for a year, and it is a nightmare. As long as it was empty, it worked; at the moment, I have half of the memory full and it is a disaster. It freezes, it rings, but the call is not visible. Never, ever buy such a phone. I am changing it because I am going to lose my mind.

This is my first Redmi phone and certainly my last. Often, it is impossible to answer a call, you cannot see who is calling, and the phone freezes all the time. I will never be convinced to choose these phones again. If anyone is wondering or hesitating between choosing Redmi and another brand, I sincerely advise against Redmi.

I also think the screen is quite dark, but I have gotten used to it to the point that I only notice it when placing it next to another phone. Purchased for 399 PLN on promotion, but it has a black back, so I am glad I just ordered a green protective back + front glass. It will look more attractive from the rear. The most irritating thing is that the screen is almost 7 inches, while the screen resolution is very poor. This is absurd, but they most likely wanted to attract uninformed people who do not understand that with such a poor resolution, 6 inches is the maximum. On YouTube, everything is displayed on a part of the screen, which is why the screen is the greatest (partly intentional) weakness of this phone, which could have been avoided to some extent. Displaying a music video in a rectangle that is the middle part of another extremely horizontal rectangle (the screen) is truly embarrassing. Photos are probably okay (I have not taken many), but in videos, the sound seems to fade out significantly at one moment, only to become very loud again a moment later. It seems to be a microphone issue. It has happened that during a phone call, people said they could not hear me at all, but most of the time it is okay. Speakers are powerful but "crackling". Video recording unfortunately also disappointed me unpleasantly because of only 30 frames in Full HD. I do not need 4K, but I expected 60 frames in Full HD and unfortunately it is not there. The most important thing, however, is the price-performance ratio. In the 4/128 version, COD Mobile runs smoothly on low settings. At this price, in "emergency mode" the phone is sufficient, but in the long run it needs to be changed, because today a smartphone is also a camera/video camera, and Full HD at 30 frames is unacceptable. I changed it because I was replacing the battery in the Redmi Note 8T for the third time and I was in a bit of a hurry; in a state of agitation, I started prying out the old one with metal scissors and I had a "volcano" on my desk (it is good that the curtains are a bit further away). It served me for exactly 4 years (less than 800 PLN in October 2020) and it was better than the Redmi 14C (it theoretically recorded in 4k, but the optimal was Full HD 60 frames, a rational 6.29 screen with a resolution of 2340X1080 etc.). On the plus side: NFC, fingerprint unlocking (but with the THUMB, because it is on the button on the right) and the internal components (Mediatek 8-core, 4 + 4 GB RAM from ROM is enough for smooth operation, and I see no point in buying an additional memory card with 128 GB ROM). Remember not to poke around in the phone with metal scissors xD

I checked the photos and recordings (I have videos from the November 11 celebrations which included a concert with dancing etc.) and the photos are fine, but the sound in the videos is erratic. The concert was really loud, and here there is sometimes an (almost) total silence, and sometimes it more or less reflects the volume level in the hall (but it is still too quiet). It is as if it were looking for a sound source somewhere very close. That is my hypothesis.
After buying protective glass and a beautiful blue-green rubber case with gold lines and curves - it looks wonderful.
With the applications I use - it does not freeze, although as someone mentioned: sometimes it exits an application, but only one - CPU-Z (but this application sometimes has stability issues on other devices). It does not launch applications instantly, but it is also hard to say that it "is slow".
Considering how beautiful it looks now, only those videos slightly hold me back from a positive rating, but given the price - it still deserves a positive one, especially since the battery is truly very durable.

I paid about 600-700 PLN for my phone on promotion. The phone works terribly, even compared to my old Xiaomi, which is old and has a damaged battery. The Redmi 14C freezes significantly; the home screen, the system, or individual applications often do not respond, to the point that the phone is non-functional more often than it is functional. The sound when listening to Spotify, the radio, or anything else consists of crackling, interruptions, and shutting down for no reason; sometimes all of this happens at once. The most notable thing is that sometimes this is still not the worst part, because sometimes it is impossible to listen to Spotify and use other applications like Google or WhatsApp at the same time; the music turns off then, and there is no smooth access to those other applications either, only system freezes. It has reached the point where it is not even possible to make an emergency call. Ultimately, my old Xiaomi 8 pro with a damaged battery works better than this much newer model.

This phone is suitable for a furnace or for throwing out of the window while driving. I have not had a phone that lags this much in a long time. Overall, I do not recommend it. It is the worst thing I could have encountered. For a week now, unfortunately, it has not been possible to function on this phone when it has trouble opening anything, and when it does open something, it takes a long time. It is extremely slow. I do not know how such a thing can even be put up for sale. We will see what the 7 GT shows.
Regarding formal matters: I ask everyone not to throw any phone into a furnace. Risk of fire, poisoning, environmental regulations. Please. Similarly with throwing it out of a window while driving. Yes, I understand what a metaphor is, but not everyone knows, and people get various ideas. (jf)

I have been using the phone for 3-4 months and honestly, it lags on almost everything. If you are looking for a budget phone for, for example, Brawl Stars, it is not worth it. The processor barely manages after 15 minutes of gaming; it stutters so much that it is difficult to describe. Sometimes the game simply remains on the loading screen. The long charging time was already a warning sign. The price is very low, but the processor performance is also very poor. TikTok or YouTube also barely function, as they experience significant lag. It is not worth discussing this phone.

Good day, Dear Editorial Team. Xiaomi Redmi 14C currently experiences system freezes. It can close a program and a notification about the application stopping appears. I own the 4/128gb version. This is the weakest version but for 399zł it is certainly a better choice than a used smartphone that is several years old. The phone looks decent. The device is made of plastic. The camera is standard, it is sufficient for FB. The speaker is loud. The display is very dark. Outdoors it must be set to maximum. The sales set contains only a power cable. Regards.

It is only suitable for being turned off and discarded; it cannot be used in any manner. For this price, it is better to purchase any other used phone. I advise not to listen to people whose defense mechanism after losing 300 PLN leads them to look for any advantages of this model, while its fundamental problem is the speed of operation, or to hyperbolize – the lack of operation. It was somewhat reminiscent of the years of the Galaxy Spica and the interface stuttering even in the contacts, and its many followers. Those were beautiful times.

The worst equipment in the world. Although I do not usually write reviews, I could not help myself here. It is very slow everywhere! It does not connect well with other devices. A tragedy. Do not buy this device. I would not take it even for 50 groszy.
