I have been using the phone for over a year and I am satisfied despite a few small flaws there is nothing to criticize, and when I read some negative comments below I find it amusing because people truly expect a phone for about 500 złotych to function like some latest iPhone or Samsung Galaxy for several thousand, one must clean the phone with dedicated applications and it will not experience performance issues.

People, be reasonable, you expect miracles from a phone for 500 zlotys so that it works as well as a flagship; I do not see the defects that were written here, perhaps only the LCD screen is of poor quality because it is poorly visible outdoors.

I have owned the phone for a year and a half, during which time it has performed quite well. However, problems have started recently - the power and vol- buttons seem to be constantly pressed, and the slightest touch of one of them puts the phone into a bootloop. This problem is temporarily solved by pressing the power button, after which the bootloop stops. Previously, I also had issues with the call speaker not always working - however, I ignored this problem because I mostly made calls using headphones anyway. Despite these problems, it is a very good device for the price. The phone takes very high-quality photos and offers a professional mode. From my own experience - the macro mode can blur photos, it is a better idea to use the 2x lens. The screen is illegible in the sun, even at maximum brightness. This problem can be solved via software, which however does not work perfectly, although reading white text on a black background is possible. The phone is equipped with a jack connector that works flawlessly (of course if you use small, low-power earphones and not demanding headphones ;)). What is also worth noting - I used the 4/64 version. Most applications work responsively - browsing social media does not cause lag, and playing simple games to pass the time also does not challenge the hardware. The battery lasts all day with continuous use. Despite the condition that affected my unit - it is a phone worth recommending, both for a child and actually for everyone.

The phone freezes, it can freeze and close background applications, for example, when having a banking application and a browser open. Attempting to switch between applications causes them to reload, resulting in lost information. This is probably due to the poor optimization of the MIUI system overlay and the small amount of RAM – as the model I am describing has 3 GB.

The system is sluggish, has advertisements and many unnecessary services, although it is somewhat possible to use this phone. I am speaking about using this smartphone for 2 years.

The battery holds up, it is not bad for 5000 mAh; when used intensively, the battery lasts for almost the entire day.

The camera takes "good" photos; problems are only visible when taking photos at night, as they come out blurry and the black depth is simply poorly highlighted.

The screen is difficult to read when looking at it in sunlight, and the maximum brightness value does not help.

For such a price, it is an average device, although I would choose something better.

I briefly used the Redmi 9 in the 4/64 version and I claim that for the price of about 600 PLN, it is probably the best it can be. The phone works quite smoothly; I would even venture to say that it is smoother than the A53 5G, though I do not know for sure and would probably have to check. The camera takes average photos, but at this price, it is probably still good. A disadvantage of the phone and generally of many Chinese phones from the mid/low range is the white spots forming on the screen (the same problem in the Moto G7 Power and Huawei P9 Lite Mini). I do not know what causes this; like all of my phones, they are not broken, yet it somehow appears. The interface is good, and the smoothness is excellent for this price, etc.

Purple Redmi 4/64 picked up from the service center, everything is working very smoothly again. I think it was worth spending those 260 for the display replacement; a frame replacement was also necessary because it got slightly bent during the fall. I chose a professional service center instead of trying to handle such repairs myself; it is worth paying for professional service, and it is worth repairing good phones. In the meantime, I was using a backup Alcatel; it was not bad, but it annoyed me very much, notifications, lags, frequent cleaning, etc. I am happy that my Redmi is fully functional. 3-month warranty. I wanted to save money because the processor seemed decent, and I thought that 3GB of memory would not make a difference compared to 4GB, so I bought the cheaper version. I transferred the data from my previous phone, and it has been a nightmare from the beginning. I have never had such a lagging and slow phone before. It is a disaster; after a while, it lags when browsing Vinted or Allegro, and playing a golf game like PGA Tour for 15 minutes on the lowest settings causes the phone to take half an hour to recover. My previous phone, the Ulefone Armor X5, performed better despite having inferior components.

Unfortunately, I already have my second Redmi model (I received this phone as a gift) and both are truly poor. Plenty of unnecessary applications that cannot be uninstalled or prevented from running and downloading data. Advertisements in system applications! Initially, it took good photos, but after only 3 months of use, they all come out blurry. Additionally, headphones do not work in both. When I connect Bluetooth headphones, only one always works (I tried different headphones and it is the same with all of them).

I have had this phone for over two years and I use it all the time, it has never failed me. I bought it in Spain where I currently live. Here Redmi 9 enjoys a very good reputation among its users. If in the future I buy a new phone, it will certainly be the same one. It has a large memory and takes good photos, one only needs to know how to use every application. Its price was only 125 Euro, so one should not have high expectations. Previously I had a Samsung, but I believe that Redmi 9 performs much better.

I bought it for 600 PLN at RTV Euro AGD (4/64GB version) and I am very satisfied with it, although it can experience lags on the MIUI 13 overlay. The 13 MP camera takes good photos, so the quality is acceptable. It works well in games and basic applications like TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, etc. For now, I am deciding against buying a new phone and will stay with this one.
