Technical specifications

I bought the phone in a hurry after I damaged my own. The technical specifications have nothing to do with reality; the phone freezes constantly, does not run smoothly, applications close unexpectedly, etc. The only plus is the large screen and NFC, which surprisingly works quite well; perhaps the 3GB RAM version works correctly, but the 2GB one is unacceptable :)

I bought this phone for my great-granddaughter (8th grade) six months ago as a trial, despite the HD screen resolution. It is known how young people treat phones. I have already replaced broken phones for two other grandchildren several times. This phone works normally, the granddaughter is satisfied. She filled the 32 GB card and 32 GB memory with photos and videos. Today I bought her a 128 GB card on Allegro. There will be some peace.

I have had this phone since 2021, and back then I paid over 600 PLN for it. Considering the price-to-quality ratio, the price is actually too high. The camera consists of two lenses rather than three, and the photo quality is not that good. In daylight, the photos are of adequate quality, but in low light, the images are poor. I have the 3/64 version and initially everything worked correctly. Now it can experience delays, and at times you have to wait several minutes to perform an action. The screen with HD/HD+ 60Hz resolution is sufficient for basic use. A significant advantage is the battery, as it lasts for up to several days with normal use. The phone is completely sufficient for people who will use it for basic tasks. It functions to some extent for light applications or games, but it may not be sufficient for something more demanding or for several applications at once. In a few days, a new Redmi phone will arrive. I probably will not buy Redmi C-series phones anymore.

I do not recommend and I advise against it; the phone freezes every few seconds and applications crash. The phone is practically unusable; running two applications at the same time is extremely difficult. Additionally, with Android 10, the phone does not meet the minimum requirements at all; it is a complete disaster. Buying SD cards for this phone is a pure waste of money; it is impossible to move applications, and saving downloaded photos is also a significant struggle because even photos cannot be normally transferred from the phone to the SD card. Furthermore, the phone casing is poorly made of plastic that makes the hands feel hot. The phone cannot handle even a simple web browser. I could continue listing the defects of this phone, but I do not want to write any more. At this price, it is better to buy a used Huawei, which would perform much better. I advise against it! Do not buy this plastic product from Xiaomi.

The camera quality is very poor; even an extremely simple device would produce better photographs or videos. The touchscreen is also not satisfactory because it often stops responding completely, and the only solution is to restart the device. Additionally, the device experiences significant performance issues and everything loads very slowly. The only advantage is the battery, but much better phones can be found at this price.

The phone is very poor. It freezes, sometimes the keyboard did not appear and the phone had to be restarted to be able to write anything.

Currently the touchscreen often stops working and it is necessary to lock and unlock it again.

Compared to the previous xiaomi 5 (which worked very well) that I had, this 9 is quite a disappointment.

A tragedy. It works slowly. It stutters. Basic applications such as Google Wallet can take 30 seconds to load. NFC works inconsistently, so paying with it is a lottery. The camera is so poor that taking a photo for face verification or an identity card is nearly impossible. In addition, the display is dark. A low-quality product not worth even a single zloty.

This phone is of very poor quality. It experienced performance delays even while viewing for example photos or while watching YT or TT. After 2 years, there were constant restarts and it suffered from performance interruptions, despite the update (which however worsened its operation). Now I have a Samsung A23. It is better in every respect.

I have had the phone for two and a half years. It is not an exceptionally fast device but it works, although it has experienced several restarts. The data in the specification does not fully correspond with reality. The phone has a micro USB port, has two rear cameras, and does not have a magnetometer or current sensors.

Terrible equipment. The contacts or SMS window can take 10s to open and one wonders whether it was even clicked. Everything works very slowly... everything. The only plus is the battery, but generally I ADVISE AGAINST IT and VERY STRONGLY. It is not possible to work on this.
