It is quite good, you just need to uninstall unnecessary applications, then it works well.

I have been using it for 2 years and so far it is performing well. The battery lasts a very long time, and now it can be purchased for a low price.

Overall, the phone would be rated excellent. I bought the Redmi Note 12 4G 8/256 GB. It runs very fast compared to the Samsung S8. A fast Snapdragon processor and many nice features that I still haven't discovered after four months. I even bought it in Germany at a bargain price of 169 €, where it was much more expensive in Poland, but now that I tried to pay with this poor quality device after four months, it turns out to be a completely worthless product that lacks an NFC module. I have been searching YouTube and the internet for two days; reviews everywhere say it has NFC, but I found one site where NFC is marked with an asterisk, and the footnote says this module might not be available in some countries. I recommend checking this inferior device before purchase to see if it has all the functions you need; you only need to swipe down from the top right of the display to see all its available options. I bought this poor quality product via mail order and did not have the opportunity to check, so I must return this worthless item or have it replaced with one that has NFC. Furthermore, I read in a manual today that there should be a radio in this phone, but that icon is also missing. The only plus is the possibility of connecting a headphone jack or an old-type stereo system if you do not have Bluetooth headphones or a Bluetooth system to listen to music; however, if you like listening to live music, I recommend the 12s version, which has stereo speakers and is recommended for gamers because you can play horizontally and have speakers on both sides. I did not buy the 12s due to an error in the description on the idealo.de website, which stated that the Redmi Note 12s has an LCD display, even though all 12 series phones have AMOLED. Therefore, one big piece of advice: always check before buying if the version of the phone for your country has the features you need, and if not, reject the seller and the phone. When buying via mail order, check the menu immediately because you have 14 days for returns in Poland and probably three to six months in Germany, so send this poor quality product back immediately with the information that it is a deception because it does not have all the functions described in online advertisements. On the other hand, I also recommend not saving too much and paying extra for the 5G version, because then it downloads data or movies much faster and launches YouTube more quickly than the 4G version. Sometimes, as many people write, the phone has system freezes, but it has rarely happened to me during these three months; we will see what happens after a year, because all the Samsungs I had were ready for a total reset after a year because I had to press the display button three times just to start a function, even in the Samsung S series.

Hello, I currently have a Redmi Note 12 phone, but honestly, for the money, I do not recommend it. I somewhat regret buying it. The only advantage I can mention is the very good battery even with longer use. And that would be all for the pros, while there are significantly more cons. I have been using it for almost 3 years and plan to change to a completely different brand. It freezes terribly during various tasks, shuts down on its own and claims to have a problem, and when I select "resolve," it suddenly turns off. Generally, very poor photo quality, but in addition, it lags and it is difficult to take any normal photo, let alone a video. A big disadvantage is the photo gallery, because while scrolling through a video, the Xiaomi browser suddenly opens and plays ads every time, so it is impossible to watch recorded videos. I have tried various ways to prevent this, but it did not work. Whether you like it or not, these ads are imposed by Xiaomi, which is a major downside. Generally speaking, it lags entirely, it is impossible to do several things at once on this phone, such as browsing websites and listening to music, as it will freeze completely and the situation is unsatisfactory because nothing can be done, not to mention the very slow page loading speed. In my opinion, the phone is good for older people, grandfathers and grandmothers, who do not have high requirements for a phone. I do not recommend buying it, regards :)

Redmi Note 12 4/128GB from Orange. The phone is fast, does not get hot, and works smoothly without issues (at least while it is new?). I checked the web browsing speed compared to a much higher-end phone (Samsung Note 10 plus) and it was practically the same. The phone is narrow and long, and it feels good in the hand. 120 Hz screens are a marketing deception. I do not see any difference compared to a phone with 60 Hz, and it only consumes the battery faster. Those who write that the difference between a 120 Hz and 60 Hz screen is colossal have probably succumbed to a collective hypnosis by marketing experts. The image on the screen is of good quality, the colors are OK, and the brightness and contrast are very good. The battery lasts well. GPS works without problems. The camera is average, but it takes quite decent photos. If someone has used Samsung phones before, the Xiaomi system overlay will seem crude, unattractive, and poorly thought out. The sound from the speakers is a bit harsh but clearly audible. There are no problems with signal reception. Overall, it is probably a decent phone, but it has too little RAM (only 4GB), lacks inductive charging, and should cost no more than 800 PLN for the 4/128GB version. A big plus for the classic headphone jack and the charger included in the set.

4/64. Mediocre. With a 64 GB card, it works reasonably well until the tray is opened and closed. Then all photos and music disappear from the phone's view; so if there is no backup, it is a problem, unless the card is wiped again (unnecessarily, because everything is still there, the smartphone just does not see it). The problem begins when a 128 or 256 GB card is inserted instead of 64 GB; then the smartphone behaves erratically. In my case, one contact from the phonebook was displayed about 40 times in a row, I stopped counting after 30... It was so irritating that after each such occurrence, I restored factory settings hoping it would be better. It is, but only temporarily. This was the first and last Xiaomi redmi 12 4G 4/64 GB.

I have been using the phone for over a year and I cannot say anything good about it. The system is terrible. It can freeze to the point where a restart is required. The phone runs slowly even in basic tasks such as taking photos or using the browser. Additionally, for some time now it has started sending some reports that significantly slow it down and are saved in the memory, and I have to delete them regularly if I do not want to have full memory. Besides, a system update once caused it to stop working. I do not know how a global corporation like Xiaomi releases such an unfinished system. In conclusion. I definitely advise against the purchase because I do not think anyone would want to struggle with a faulty and slow system.
2 lata z Redmi Note12 4/128
A mid-range device, good for the price. Advantages include large memory and a screen that displays graphics and maps accurately (resolution!!!). Mine has been working stably for many months; I restart it occasionally to refresh the memory. Disadvantages include a difficult system settings interface, unlike my other phones; some options are completely hidden, yet available through searching(!), which really irritates me. And finally, a significant drawback: lack of connectivity via USB cable and USB-OTG to external storage, even though OTG is present; I do not understand this(?), so photos must either be sent or transferred via a memory card.

Low end equipment. Despite the parameters on paper, it performs poorly in reality. Display with a pink-yellow glow. It poorly sharpens details of fonts and outlines. The camera is not impressive, but rather disappoints with its quality. Operation is quite smooth, I did not notice slowdowns in basic operations. Software is also not completely refined, for example a calendar is missing. LTE as the name suggests only 4g. Amoled display in bright sunlight not very clear. The advantage is turbo charging and very good operation of the fingerprint reader and a decent weight 184 g - the phone is quite light.

I own a Redmi Note 12 8/256 and after switching from a Redmi 6, the difference is colossal. All applications run incredibly smoothly, nothing freezes. The 120Hz AMOLED screen is excellent. What hurts the most is the lack of stereo speakers and the terrible camera, which records at a maximum of 1080p at 30 frames and has a lot of noise, which is simply a mockery for a phone costing 1300 zł from 2023. However, the phone redeems itself with 33W charging and the rich contents of the box, so despite everything, I am able to recommend it to you.
