First impression is promising display good performance smoothness good camera good more information soon.

After a month of use, the phone works smoothly and there are no lags. The battery typically lasts 1 day, at most 1.5 days, and charges quickly. The screen is very good. The camera performs well during the day and at night, although it is not a flagship. The only reservation is regarding the stereo speakers; they perform moderately in terms of quality and volume. On headphones, there is good quality and volume. It is a good mid range device if purchased at a good price.

In my opinion, this is the best phone up to 2,000 PLN in the 8/256GB version, and I have checked all possible options in this range with similar parameters. It works very smoothly. During several days of intensive testing, it froze a few times for 1-2 seconds. It takes very nice photos for a phone at this price. I thought the night photos posted below by one of the users were retouched, but it turns out that it handles darkness really well. The only reservation regarding the night photos compared to the Samsung A52s is that the colors are slightly less vivid, although the sharpness is better in the RN12pro. Sometimes it is enough to tilt the phone slightly and the colors are really great. Daytime photos show no noticeable difference compared to the RN12pro+, Samsung A34, or A54. The battery dropped by 15% after about 2 hours of continuous usage in light mode. If the adaptive mode is set (dark screen after dusk), after a full day on the road the battery dropped by about 50% (including 6h of continuous usage with the screen on + 3h of listening to music via bluetooth). Full charge in an hour. The display has beautiful colors; watching TV on it is a pure pleasure. In the box, there is a full set: a 67W charger, a case, and a screen protector film already applied. So far, I have not found any downsides. Well, maybe one typical for Xiaomi, which is that you have to lower the call volume because everyone nearby can hear.

I bought the EU version 8/256 from beststore last week for 1260 PLN. Transitioning from an old Mate 20 Lite. I had only used the Redmi Note 10 and wanted the 10 Pro, but I opted for a much newer model instead and I am very satisfied. I spent the entire day configuring it to my needs, removing all the unnecessary software, and searching through the settings, but there is no problem with the interface, despite claims that MIUI is annoying or something similar. I considered the purchase for a long time, but for this price it was worth it and I do not see anything better. The camera is sufficient, providing even better photos than the 11s which supposedly has 108mpx although it has a different sensor. Charging is excellent, and the screen with a 120Hz refresh rate makes a very good impression compared even to the standard Redmi 10. We will see in some time, although I do not think it will last as many years as the old Huawei which I had for nearly 5 years ;p so far, I have no objections, except perhaps that the Soundcore P2 wireless headphones played louder and had better low tones on the Huawei which has older Bluetooth and lacks LDAC codecs, and in both cases I had the built-in equalizer disabled, using only the equalizer in the Soundcore application. In my opinion, it is a bit strange that it performs worse, especially since they are wireless. However, even switching to LDAC codecs does not help.

After two years of use, the phone is generally quite satisfactory for normal use. It is fairly smooth, and the main camera is relatively decent (the two additional lenses... they could just as well not exist). It handles various applications well, even when there are several running in the background. Among the downsides I observed:
- the worst... Less than a year after purchase, occasional problems with connecting to the internet appeared, along with very frequent (!!!) internet issues when the hotspot is enabled - this hotspot is practically unusable because every 5-10 minutes it breaks the internet connection for several minutes (to the point that even the phone loses signal);
- on warm days, it heats up very quickly while using navigation with the screen on (if you add charging, it can shut down applications, including google maps, to prevent overheating);
- pop-up ads appearing at moments such as... opening documents, music, videos, the file manager... Someone made a very irrational decision regarding this software.
Budget phone. It works decently, but certain annoying elements can effectively make life difficult.

I have the 8/256 version; the phone has a very good display, vivid colors, and 120Hz performs very well regarding image fluidity. It has not frozen even once, despite testing it with several running applications and an open-world game. The battery is good; it lasts a whole day with my usage, and with more moderate use, I feel it meets the 1.5-day standard with 5000mAh, and it charges in 50 minutes, so there is nothing to complain about. At this price, there is no competition. The camera takes very good photos for this price (numbers are not everything-50mpx). Overall, I do not see any flaws in it, well, maybe one... MIUI applications, such as Themes, are burdened with many advertisements, but when we do not use them, we have peace of mind. The price-to-quality ratio is at an unquestionable level (this entire statement consists solely of my opinion and observations, and I am a very demanding user when it comes to smartphones).

I have owned this model for a year, in short:
disadvantages:
- advertisements, advertisements, and advertisements,
- GPS losing its way, navigation is very poor (Google Maps),
- no possibility of adding a micro SD card,
- there is no point in setting it to 120Hz, it is virtual, the battery drains very quickly,
- Android Auto - very disappointing, Ford Focus does not work with it (it works on Samsung),
- video stabilization - none, it is present but useless,
- it loses vertical orientation,
- the screen dims by itself every now and then for no reason (I checked all settings),
advantages:
- there would be some if the phone cost less than 1000 PLN (e.g., the display) at the start, so in my opinion, there are none.
Video is poor, photos are average, system applications have intrusive advertisements for AliExpress, Temu, etc.
To sum up, my first and last Redmi and never again. I am very disappointed with the purchase.

I've had this smartphone for half a year now and at first it seemed quite okay, everything worked fine, until I bought my wife a Redmi Note 12S 8/258gb for 900 zł... And when I compared them, the RN12 Pro is not worth its price; the camera is almost the same, slightly better at night, the same during the day, sometimes even worse because photos are overexposed on the RN12 Pro. HDR works inconsistently and the OIS stabilization in video is weak.. The screen has practically no difference in normal use. The battery performs better in the RN12S. The sound is slightly better and louder in the 12 Pro. In the 12S, the top speaker might as well not be there because it contributes almost nothing. For an average person who uses a smartphone "normally," it is not worth paying extra. And furthermore, Android 12 is a failure.. the 12S has 13 from the start... NO updates...

The worst phone I have ever had. The battery and camera are a disaster, but it is completely disqualified by the light sensor, which operates unpredictably (at night it suddenly brightens the screen to the maximum, on a sunny day it dims it to the minimum, making the screen completely illegible) and the equally poorly functioning proximity sensor. It is impossible to conduct calls with this phone because during a conversation the screen does not turn off or suddenly becomes active, and with my ear I either hang up the call or activate a multitude of other things. To summarize - either I received a defective unit, or it is an exceptionally inferior product. Previously, I was a satisfied user of the Redmi Note 9, but this thing (Redmi Note 12 Pro) has completely discouraged me from this manufacturer's phones. I absolutely do not recommend it.

I bought it in November 2024 and I still have it today, so it is not such a bad device, but unfortunately, although it was not among the cheapest on the day of purchase, you can feel that it is budget equipment. The most annoying are the stutters (the so-called slowdowns). A good charger was included in the set (it is no longer in the sales set). I would not buy it a second time, although this smartphone has its advantages. It is not a weak device, but you have to take care of the software and regularly clear the cache. A certain amount of patience is also required because there are many advertisements. However, when someone can manage it and configure it for themselves, they can be relatively satisfied with using this Redmi, but unfortunately, it is not "PRO", as the name would suggest.
