I had this phone in my hand for a moment and considered purchasing it, as I liked it very much while testing the device for a while. However, it lacks UFS 3.1 memory, having only UFS 2.2... and this is very important for performance as well. Thank you, mGSM editors, for providing such information... as one of the few... at MediaExpert they were unable to answer this question.

Hello to people who like the Xiaomi brand and want to buy this phone... There is nothing revolutionary, so it is worth waiting, unless you can buy it at a good price like I did, which was 1.5, because I would never pay 2.0. From the beginning, the casing - mostly plastic, so it is poor for an aspiring flagship, but if most people use a case anyway, it is not a big flaw; here I recommend the Xundda case, which is much safer than the standard one. The system, Android 12 and the increasingly cluttered MIUI, if it were not for ADB and the ability to remove applications without root, I would be very disappointed. It is unfortunate that it has an old generation UFS, but they are slimming down phones as much as they can now... Meaning marketing-wise we will give you 200mpx, but we will cut costs elsewhere. Speaking of which, I like taking photos and I have taken many of them with Xiaomi phones. These 200 mpx are a disappointment, I thought I would be truly surprised. Photos turn out well only in good sunlight, but even when enlarged, pixelation quickly appears, and with so many mpx, it should be better. Additionally, the recent Xiaomi standard, namely wide-angle + macro, is also poor; where are the telephoto lenses?! The battery, with a beautiful 120Hz AMOLED screen (a big plus for that), wifi etc., if I last until evening without a charger, it will be a miracle ;-) The 120W charging is very effective; I plug in the phone, turn on the kettle for tea, and it is done; I wonder about the battery's durability. But it is a trade-off. For me, it is a plus. To summarize, the pros: charging, screen, reasonably fast system operation during standard use, the set with the phone, meaning the case, 120W charger, etc. The cons: the camera, which should really perform well after what the Xiaomi marketing team did, it heats up, the battery drains quickly, and generally, the parameters are not suitable for an aspiring flagship or even a mid-range phone for over 2.0 thousand (IP53, processor, UFS, other cameras). 5+ out of 10 ;-) Regards

Samsung, come back...
I switched to the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ from a Samsung S10. The Samsung started falling apart and I was tempted by the relatively affordable price. Why overpay, I thought. Oh, how wrong I was. Now I know that I would have added 1-2k without hesitation to have the S23.

Pros of the Redmi Note 12 Pro+:
- Battery capacity
- Charging time

Cons, comparing to the S10:

- Camera (portraits look artificial, unnatural background brightness in most photos)

- Smoothness of operation, it can freeze for half a second

- GPS. Google Maps, Strava, Mi Fit can lose GPS signal in the middle of the city (Warsaw).

- Gestures, a simple swipe on the Joemonster website sometimes works, sometimes doesn't.
- Default Xiaomi browser. A poor quality product with a million ads

Generally, I do not recommend it to people who want to move from a Samsung flagship - you will be disappointed like me.

Samsung, I admit my mistake, as soon as this poor device fails, I am buying an Sxx (I do not know which one will be on the market).
Just to be clear, Samsungs are not perfect either. A battery below 5k mAh combined with slow charging is a joke.
Regards,
Paweł

Does the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ definitely support Wi-Fi ax?
An old saying states that only death and taxes are certain. The manufacturer indicates that the ac standard is supported: https://www.mi.com/pl/product/redmi-note-12-pro-plus-5g/specs (jf)

The battery lasts for a very short time, but it charges to full in 30 minutes. The phone does not last a day. It is fast and looks good - that is all.
