This device, as it is difficult to call it a "smart"phone, is a mockery. I will never even look at the Xiaomi brand again; it freezes constantly. It even froze during an NFC payment, and I had to run to the car for my wallet. It does not work with Google at all, it stutters, and it closes applications like YouTube, email, maps, etc. The photos were only decent for a month; now phones costing 400-500zl take better ones. It loses signal and Wi-Fi connection... The list goes on... Overall, a Chinese product is a Chinese product, an inferior item.

My Redmi Note 8 has lasted over 3 years, the battery still performs well, it happens to freeze sometimes but only for the last half a year, as for me it is a great phone, it has a difficult life with me, I am an electrician and this phone is still with me, often in significant dust, it also fell several times from quite a height and fortunately it is still functional and in good condition... but the time has come for something newer .

Now I will address those who criticize, although anyone is free to criticize... one must realize that any defects resulting from the device's operation are caused by the amount of RAM and ROM memory. This means you install a lot of unnecessary items, especially those from unknown sources or Google Play, without knowing that a specific application harms the phone's performance... that is the first point, so to speak, and now for the opinion from my side... I have had the smartphone for almost 3 years; at the beginning it worked incredibly well, it was fast, not overly equipped with memory because it has only 32GB / 3GB, yet this type of smartphone is fast. I have plenty of applications and I am left with less than 1GB of free space, but that is not the problem. The problem became the updates; the newer the update, the worse the phone worked, it slowed down and occasionally froze. I uninstalled some updates and the smartphone began to work better, but I would like to return to the initial version from when I bought it, except that it is not possible. System restoration alone does not allow one to get rid of all the new updates and that is the biggest problem, not the smartphone, since it worked well at the beginning. My evaluation is positive for appearance, quality, and solidity; the disadvantages are the weight and the lack of MHL. As for NFC, I do not particularly regret it because I have already had it in other smartphones; for me it is nothing special, I carry money in my wallet.

One of the most annoying phones I have ever had in my life. It regularly displays a message on the lock screen about covering the earpiece holes (which does not interest me at all when I want to check notifications or the time). I tried to disable it, but it does not help. Xiaomi applications are already installed on the phone, which are not only annoying to use but also display advertisements. You want to play a video recording, and afterwards, you are shown suggestions for other videos from the internet. There is no information about the set alarm on the lock screen, which is also a disadvantage. Changing the settings on the phone is not very intuitive. Any configuration change means I have to look for tutorials on how to do something. There are many such examples. I am currently trying to find out if it is possible to display the password for a saved Wi-Fi network rather than a QR code. In general, the phone might be good in terms of specifications, but it has many annoying features.

The best phone in its price range that I have used. I have owned this model since late 2020. After nearly 3 years of normal use, I am extremely satisfied. The battery often lasts 2 days, the phone does not lag during everyday tasks, the camera is good, the fingerprint scanner works very well, and there are no issues with voice quality. The only points of criticism are the long connection time to Wi-Fi and the fact that, on average once a month, the phone loses reception and it is impossible to use mobile data or make calls, but these are problems one can get used to, especially considering the advantages of this phone.

I have had the phone for over 3 years, purchased at that time for about 650 PLN. For its price, it works well; it has never been restored to factory settings. As for the downsides: after these 3 years, the battery lasts a very short time, and the headphone jack has broken. It often slows down when dialing a phone number while using dual SIM. The phone has fallen more than a dozen times, but nothing happened to it. The screen is intact, and the casing did not crack.

I have had the phone since 2020, which is 3 years. It has 32 GB and it is of very poor quality. It does not have much memory to install applications. Currently, "cancel" is displayed on the screen all the time when I want to open an application. My rating is 1/10.
