The worst smartphone I have ever had. Never again Xiaomi and other unusual inventions! Right after the warranty expired, it was "discarded". The phone would freeze for no particular reason, and the fingerprint scanner is a total disaster. After six months, the screen stopped responding to touch. They repaired it. However, that was not all. It began to malfunction - sometimes it opened random applications, the screen flickered, it could even call a random person on its own. A restart helped for a while, then it happened again. At the service center, they stated that it was due to the latest MIUI update and that restoring the phone to its state before the update or waiting for a new one would solve the problem - but it did not. It did not solve it. And MIUI itself - at the beginning it was acceptable, but with every subsequent update, it was worse. With relief and immense joy, I replaced this inferior product with a new model. It is well known that if something is inexpensive and has components that appear in much more expensive models from competitors, there must be a hidden drawback somewhere.

I have had many phones from various brands, and I can say that only with the Xiaomi smartphone has the GPS sensitivity surprised me with its good performance. The GPS does not lose its signal in the forest or among tall urban buildings. It happened once that while driving with the GPS for several hours on a hot day, an overheating notification appeared on the screen, but after turning off the internet (mobile data) and enabling do-not-disturb mode, the message did not appear again. I experienced strange application behavior in emergency situations after the screen was flooded during a kayaking trip and after damaging the screen in a severe fall. After replacing the display, it still works flawlessly. The USB-C port and the headphone jack function perfectly despite accidentally tearing out the plugged-in cables with my leg.

This phone is a good device. It is well made, has a good camera and relatively a lot of RAM for 2020. However, there are flaws in it that I will mention now, namely the thermals: the phone could get significantly hot, which caused discomfort, and as a result, after 3 years of use, it led to a bootloop and loss of all data, which was the reason for changing this model to another. Therefore, I advise being cautious in this matter if it is still being used. As for the downsides at the time, if someone were considering its purchase, I can include among the disadvantages: small internal memory, rather average performance, a screen with a refresh rate of only 60hz, and battery wear resulting from the previous user. Among the advantages I can include: a good camera with 4k recording, good durability of the housing, a large amount of RAM (6gb), and the fast storage standard UFS 2.1.
