Good Day!!
Continuing the topic of FairPhone 4,
I thank the creators and authors of this noble website for continuing the subject of modular phones (replaceable batteries, parts, and the possibility of independent repair of mobile devices).
I will add from myself that this model (the 8) is currently not available at all, concluding from the fact that on the Shift website it is marked as a "preorder," meaning it is in pre-sale. I also noticed that the description of the Shift6MQ model can already be found on the website.
As for the Shift company, I am impressed because it can be safely said that it is a more interesting alternative to FairPhone. Here, on the SHIFT6MQ model, you can also install alternative operating systems such as LineageOS or mobile Linux.
I noticed that they have more to offer, including cases in various colors and configurations, for example, with wood. In addition to phones, they also have modular headphones, tablets, laptops, and monitors.
I emphasize that I am writing this as someone interested in the topic of modular mobile technology, and not at all as someone who is paid to write such "posts."
Kind regards, and I recommend that people take an interest in this sector of mobile technologies, because in my opinion, it is already a better alternative to the currently rigid lobby of well-known phone manufacturers, a kind of refreshing influence....
I wish everyone a pleasant life!!

Good Day. On the official manufacturer's website (in the store), I noticed that it says the SHIFTphone 8 model has 12 GB RAM, Android 14, and a Qualcomm QCM6490 processor (based on Snapdragon 778G). Best regards.
This model is no longer on the manufacturer's official website. This is the manufacturer's policy - apparently it sold out or was not selling, so they modified it. This is the version 8 model, and on the manufacturer's website at this moment, there is variant 8.1. I will add it to the catalog because I did not notice it. I have a screenshot of the manufacturer's page with the specifications for model 8 from November 2023. Regards. (jf)
