MIUI 14 is based on Android 13, not 11.

MIUI 13 performs very slowly on the Redmi 9 Pro after updating to this version. It is difficult to write a text message or make a phone call, not to mention using the browser. During normal standby, i.e., without using the phone, errors from randomly selected applications appear. It is probably time to abandon Android devices in favor of an iPhone. Overall, I do not recommend it, and beware of the update to MIUI 13!

I switched from Xiaomi 11T Pro to Xiaomi 13... Battery performance after almost two years of use in the 11T Pro is better than in the new 13. This is the first bad impression. The second is the absolutely malfunctioning light sensor. The screen reacts slowly; indoors, the screen dims to the maximum. When going outside, it reacts very slowly and increases brightness in a completely sluggish manner. This is not just my observation because one or two YouTubers mentioned this in tests. The phone is really pretty and sleek. On the plus side are the waterproofing and very fast inductive charging, but if someone does not care about these two features, I really recommend the 11T Pro with 120W charging. The phone is currently available online at half the price of the 13, and the performance capabilities and display quality (including colors) are much better and visible to the naked eye. The camera on the 13 really takes better photos and it is clear that Leica was involved here. On the 11T Pro, photos are only acceptable and nothing extraordinary, but they are nice and cannot be blamed for any major deficiencies. In summary, the phone is worth considering at a price of up to 3000 zł. If you want a truly proven high-performance device that still runs smoothly after two years (update to Android 13 and MIUI 14, so consider the 11T Pro), which charges to full in 20 minutes via cable! It has an absolutely great display and, in terms of battery life, even after two years, it is simply better in every way than the 13. A few remarks regarding working with Android Auto. When working wirelessly with the car, when trying to wake the screen on the 13, very often the screen and the on-screen fingerprint sensor do not react. You have to click the lock button. Wake the screen and only then will the fingerprint scanner work - annoying (for comparison, the fingerprint scanner in the 11T Pro in the side button was absolutely flawless). I therefore warn people who drive a lot and use AA in the car. Additionally, it happens that the 13 freezes and the internet, Chrome browser, etc., do not work. You have to restart the phone. This all happens while using AA in the car. Suddenly the whole phone becomes unstable, so I warn you. During an entire day in the car, I restarted the phone 4 times.

I rate this phone positively :) After switching from One+ 9PRO, I finally feel true handiness! 1. Very good camera. It might not have the best "macro technology" like brilliant HDR or dynamic range, etc. BUT...! I tested the camera in several stores in rather low-light conditions. And so: the main cameras of Samsung S23 or S23 Ultra turned out the same, i.e., average quality and detail; iPhone 14 or 13 better than S23. Oneplus even worse :( Only Xiaomi enchanted me with its detail, lack of noise, etc... (perhaps this is also due to the sensor brightness, but it surpassed everything I had in my hand!) 2. Screen only good. This is an OLED, not an AMOLED. And here nuances are visible only in direct comparison in favor of the AMOLED. 3. Speakers... hmm, those reviewers :) We audiophiles know that speakers need to be burned in before a substantive assessment. They play well, better than Samsung or 1+ and worse than iPhone. I give it a fair 4+ 4. Connectivity. I have no problems with either WiFi or Bluetooth; screen mirroring on a Samsung TV works better and faster than on a Samsung. I live in the countryside and the only difference is the network range; in the Oneplus it was one bar more, and in my wife's Samsung it is the same. Android Auto in a VW group car also works very efficiently - which I cannot say about the problematic ONEPLUS. 5. Battery about 30-40% before going to sleep, i.e., about 5 hours of continuous operation. 6. Processor - games run very smoothly on high settings, it does not heat up at all! Something else, oh yes, the MIUI 14 system. Very friendly and fast. I have no ads at all, because during the first configuration, we determine if we want them, i.e., personalized and something else. I am very satisfied and recommend it; for this price, we have peace of mind and a complete product - which in today's times is not the norm!

I went to the official store to check whether replacing my Xiaomi 11T Pro (MIUI 14, Android 13) with the Xiaomi 13 makes sense. After almost two years of using the 11T Pro the only thing I miss is inductive charging which the Xiaomi 13 has and I could even give up my 120W charging for 67W via cable to be able to charge the phone wirelessly in the car (I have Android Auto working without a cable in the car). The device is nice even very eye catching. Despite its compact size the ergonomics are poor due to the angular shapes. It is indeed smaller but one probably has to adjust significantly to these iPhone style shapes. Unfortunately the price has increased significantly for the 13 and 13 Pro. The smartphones have the same interface as my two year old phone. The 11T Pro despite almost two years works just as fast as on the day of purchase and it can be bought for half the price of the Xiaomi 13. The Xiaomi 12 seems to be a better choice for daily use. This is the best compromise when it comes to functions and being a compact phone. However it is known that people buy with their eyes and honestly yes I like it and in a year when some promotions appear I will consider the purchase. Realistically this phone should not cost more than 3500 PLN and at this price it would be an acceptable choice.

I have had this phone for 31 months now (over 2.5 years). It works just as excellently as it did at the beginning. The build quality is an advantage, with two glass panels and an aluminum frame; it is very durable. The battery is another positive; it still easily lasts the whole day with very intensive use (two email accounts, two SIM cards, navigation, Android Auto). Smoothness of operation is another benefit; there is no freezing, and everything functions correctly (shortened animations in developer options). Wired charging is a significant advantage, going from 20 to 80% in approximately 15 minutes. Night photos are a major positive, daytime photos are quite good, and they are acceptable under artificial light. It has a good screen, the antennas provide a strong and stable signal, and the speakers produce loud and clear sound. There are more advantages than disadvantages. I am keeping it until June to reach exactly 3 years, then I will switch to the 15 Pro or 17.

On the Xiaomi website, there is information regarding the display stating it is AMOLED, whereas you state it is OLED.
Perhaps we are using different Xiaomi websites. I am using the first one on which the specification appeared (and it is still there), while you, User, are using the one available in Poland. Hence the difference. One should certainly believe the manufacturer; one simply has to choose which branch to believe. Besides, this is the official Polish Xiaomi website and forgive me, but I do not see the Xiaomi 13 here: https://www.mi.com/pl/mobile/ The 13T family is there, but the 13 is not. Perhaps I have vision problems. But if it is not on the official Polish Xiaomi website, then perhaps you are not checking the specification on the Xiaomi website. Regards. (jf)

I had a choice between the Galaxy S23 and the Xiaomi 13 and... I chose the S23 and after 14 months of use, I conclude that it was an excellent decision. The photos from the Xiaomi 13 and the Galaxy S23 show a massive difference, Samsung is significantly superior in terms of detail and contrast compared to Xiaomi, only the Xiaomi 15 can match the S23 in the quality of the photos taken, the speed of operation in the Samsung is also an advantage, only the battery and charging are better in the Xiaomi.

I thought it would be a good purchase, but it is a poor quality device. Apart from the omnipresent advertisements, the camera is ostensibly excellent, but focusing takes a very long time or it does not focus at all. Applications operate slowly, the touch screen is too sensitive, and sometimes there are connection problems; it appears that a call is being made, yet there is silence. There are many more issues to mention. I regret this purchase and do not recommend it.

Finally, after weeks of searching and considering a phone change, I switched from the Asus zenfone 7 pro. First impressions? The fact that it is much smaller... But that is an advantage. In terms of performance and battery, it has exceeded all expectations. The system is also fine. Without any unnecessary complications. The Zenfone certainly heated up more, whereas here it remains cool. For the time being, I recommend it. Perhaps the price is a bit excessive...
