Overall impressions after a few days of use are quite positive. Very nice display, smooth performance, no lags, and it does not overheat. I will not comment on the camera as I do not really use the phone for photos. The battery lasts very well, and it has fast charging. The 67W charger and case included in the set are a very nice touch. I use the phone mainly for gaming via the GeForce NOW platform and for daily use (FB, Instagram, Messenger, Brave, etc.), and it performs excellently. So far, the only downside I have observed is the significantly weaker 5G signal (T-Mobile) compared even to the very cheap realme Narzo 30 5G... LTE reception is also weaker than on that device and the Xiaomi Mi8, but it is manageable.

The phone is excellent. It is supposedly a lite version, but the components are premium. The camera is exceptional, with sharp photos like in Huawei, but the details in the photos surpass it. The thin lightweight 120 Hz screen performs very well, there are no performance issues, and applications run quickly. Oh, Xiaomi has improved; I am very satisfied, I recommend it, you will not be disappointed.

Short review after 2 years of use. One year after purchase, the phone started to freeze significantly; currently it can freeze for about 15-20 s during which absolutely no action can be performed, the screen is as if frozen. Software updates improved this problem slightly but not for long. Currently, no new update has appeared for about half a year, so the problem is worsening. Another annoying thing is the very poor word selection in auto correction, seemingly a small thing but it can be irritating. In some phones from previous years at a similar and probably even lower market price, I believe this worked better (I mean, of course, the phones I had the pleasure of using). It also has rather poor viewing angles. Over time, a large decrease in battery capacity is also visible. Among the pluses - in my opinion, the camera is not the worst. A large amount of memory 256gb, price and design, which in my case is covered by a case anyway. Generally, this phone has rather discouraged me from buying middle class "Chinese brands" (although it is known anyway that all phones are made by the same workers).

After switching from the excellent Mi 9T Pro, which never froze a single time, I must unfortunately state that the 13 Lite is definitely a class lower. Despite having a larger battery on paper, the phone lasts for a shorter time than its predecessor - the system is poorly optimized. The most annoying feature is the system camera application, which often encounters problems when starting and freezes significantly, and taking a photograph quickly is often nearly impossible. However, the photo quality itself is quite good for a phone at this price, though night photos are naturally inferior. The phone overheats quite easily. The audio quality via Bluetooth is good, but it is much worse from the speakers. The phone itself does not lack performance, but the unoptimized operating system, which contains software errors, does. Generally, for this price, something better could likely be found.

The phone was purchased for a contract renewal only because it was cheap, mid range prices this year are something that can effectively discourage contract renewal. The build and appearance are okay, similar in size to the Xiaomi 12, which I also used. The curved edges are not bothersome, it is lightweight and well balanced. I regret the purchase, however, the phone has a weak battery or a poorly optimized system, a large number of unnecessary things and surprisingly Android 12 at this price and in the month of September, when Android 14 beta tests are ending, is a mistake. The phone has poor signal reception, after losing 5G and LTE it takes a long time to search for them again, cutting off internet access. It tends to heat up during games, especially when kept in the included case. I would not recommend the purchase, except for people who are strictly looking for a smaller phone.

I have had the phone for almost a year, and during this time it has been to the service center twice. The phone kept turning on and off by itself continuously. The service center performed a hard reset and returned it, but the problem recurred. The call quality is very poor, the speaker crackles when changing the phone's orientation, and the camera is not as good as the manufacturer claims. The battery lasts for a very short time with average use during the day, such as some YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and a few calls; it is difficult for it to last 12 hours. Additionally, from 10% battery, it is a matter of 15 minutes before the phone turns off. Charging the phone to 100%, despite the small battery and a 67 W charger, takes well over 1 hour. The advantages are the display and, of course, the design. That is all, I do not recommend it.

I have had the phone for some time. It does not overheat during normal use; I do not play games, only watch movies, listen to music, use social media, make calls, and send text messages and emails. The battery life is quite good, the phone is fast, and the camera is almost like that of a flagship device. For an average person like me, it is excellent. Call quality is at a flagship level, and the display is also very good. In summary, there are better smartphones at this price point, specifically those with an IP68 rating and additional stereo speakers. If these features are not a priority, I recommend it because the phone is light, slim, and comes with a 67 W charger, a case, and a screen protector, so everything is included in the box, which is not common nowadays and not every manufacturer offers this.

After a year of use, I am returning to my old Redmi 10 Pro; it is the last decent mid-range Xiaomi phone. Xiaomi 13 Lite is a complete failure due to the number of cost-cutting measures (no SD card slot, weaker battery, no stereo speakers, no headphone jack) combined with a malfunctioning USB port (problems with Android Auto or frequent loss of connection with a drone controller). Additionally, the video stabilization quality is terrible; it is supposed to be there but works poorly (moving scenes are "enhanced" with strange micro-shakes that no editing software can stabilize), and the photos are generally poor. It has already frozen several times on random programs. I am throwing away a year-old phone!

I am slightly disappointed because the specifications looked good, but the battery performance is very poor; I have to charge it every day with moderate use. The photos, compared to my other Huawei P40 Pro, are inadequate. I wanted a phone with a good camera and Google services; of these two points, only the Google services meet my requirements, in my opinion.

I have mixed feelings. On the ?minus?:
? battery ? after a year a drastic drop in its performance,
? curved screen ? for me, very non-ergonomic,
? it performs slowly.
On the ?plus?:
? great cameras.
