I have had the Xiaomi 12 pro for two months.
So far I am very satisfied.
But there is one downside : BATTERY
Its capacity is definitely too low .
With such a processor it lasts about one day It could have been better .
Drom
I bought the phone practically at its launch; since then, I have been using it every day and can now share my thoughts on it.
The main camera is truly good; it can take photos of exceptional quality, although it sometimes has its weaker moments, as is probably the case with any other model. Regarding the wide-angle lens, it is acceptable. As for the lens with two-times zoom, it does not make much sense. The main camera provides the same quality as this one after zooming. A much better solution would have been to include a macro lens in its place.
The speakers sound very nice. They provide a wide sound in every range and a significant amount of bass. They could be slightly louder, but otherwise, I have no complaints.
The display is wonderful; I cannot mention any downsides here.
Previous comments suggested that the phone does not charge as the manufacturer claimed, which may result from the fact that those individuals were likely using the phone while charging it, which significantly slows down the battery charging process. If we want the phone to charge instantly, we should set it aside during charging and not use it. Then the charging time is approximately 18-22 minutes. If that is still too slow, you can enable the even faster charging option in the battery settings. Then the device will charge from 0 to 100% in about 14-15 minutes.
Regarding the amount of time the phone can spend on battery power, it all depends on how we use it. If we have a large number of applications open in the background, maximum brightness, and maximum display refresh rate, then the battery can deplete quite quickly. I usually have no problem with the phone lasting from morning until late evening, even with quite intensive use and the internet turned on. It is enough to simply ensure that the cache is cleared regularly or to enable the battery saver mode, which will do it for us. (Recently, Xiaomi released an update for the Gallery application, which began to drain the battery very rapidly. Uninstalling the application update fixed the problem)
The biggest downside of the phone is that it can get really hot; however, this is unfortunately a problem with all models available on the market that use this processor.
Another disadvantage, and at the same time an advantage, are the vibrations. In a pocket, especially when the phone is in a case - you can barely feel them. They are intended more to enhance the pleasure of using the device than for something practical. They provide a very pleasant sensation while using the phone, and one can feel the refinement of every detail; however, regarding functional qualities, they could have added a standard vibration motor alongside the haptic one - if only to feel when someone is calling.
The fingerprint reader works very quickly in all conditions.
The design and build quality are at the highest level.
There were no instances of the device lagging or freezing.
A nice feature is the use of two LEDs with different colors, which provides a better effect when taking photos with flash.
The Xiaomi interface is one of my favorites among all manufacturers. Everything is well-organized, intuitive, and there are vast possibilities for personalizing any settings.
The amount I paid at the launch, I consider too high. My biggest complaint about this model is the use of a telescopic lens with 2x zoom instead of a macro lens or one with a larger magnification. If not for that, the phone would be almost perfect.

I bought the phone on September 13, 2023, for 1423 PLN. I have been using it for over 2 months. In my opinion, it is great. It does not lag and launches applications quickly. I play games often and even the more demanding ones run very smoothly. The 8 + 5 GB RAM expansion option provides many possibilities. I read that the phone gets very hot. In my opinion, it is warm during heavy use, but not excessively. The screen is wonderful. 120 GHz refresh rate. Great for movies and games. The speakers are also very good, although they could be slightly louder; however, they are quite clear. Dolby Atmos and stereo speakers are very effective. The camera is sufficient for me, although I sometimes miss having a zoom. The build quality is perfect. When unboxing it, I felt as if I were taking out a top-tier smartphone. Express charging, about fifteen minutes and the phone is fully charged. During these more than 2 months, the gyroscope malfunctioned once for about 4-5 seconds. I have had no other "problems". It is almost perfect for my requirements. This is my first experience with the brand and I am positively surprised. I recommend it to those who are undecided. In my opinion, the quality-to-price ratio is 9.5/10.

Phone bought "for Christmas". Previously, I used (and still use) a Huawei P30 Pro. Since the phone is quite old, I wanted to replace it with something newer with a good camera - the main criterion. Unfortunately, after 2 weeks, the volume buttons stopped working. After 2 weeks of repair, the phone returned from the service center with a note that the motherboard was replaced (new IMEI - not matching the one on the box). After another 2 weeks, a spot appeared on the main camera - in the same place on all photos. 3 weeks of disputes with the seller EURO RTV AGD. Diagnosis - camera module replacement. We will see what happens now...
Pros:
- display - great image quality, although the display brightness is not so impressive
- charging - very fast, although the battery life is also sufficient
- appearance
- camera - capable of taking very good photos
Cons:
- failure rate - more time in the service center than in use,
- software skin functionality - some applications display strange errors, some do not save settings
- paradoxically the camera - night photos and portrait mode are worse than in the old P30 Pro,
In summary - (without considering the defectiveness) the device is not worth its price.

I own the Redmi Note 12PRO 5G, and I also own the Redmi Note 10PRO. Honestly, when purchasing the 12, I thought it would be significantly better, but that was not the case. Regarding the camera, I do not see a major advantage in the 12, and overall the 10 performs better (due to the super macro compared to the macro in the 12, which is weak). The 10 focuses automatically, whereas in the 12 you have to click manually, even though the settings are the same. External appearance, here I must admit the superiority of the 12. I do not know if 5G is useful at this moment. The speed of opening applications is slightly faster in the 12, but the 10 is also completely sufficient. SD card slot in the 12 - MISSING. Overall, the phone is certainly acceptable, but I have significant reservations as to whether it is substantially better than the 10.

Hello. I highly recommend this smartphone. I had many concerns before purchasing; among other things, I read about poor battery life and overheating. Nonsense :) you would have to use the phone extremely intensively for it to overheat; it is true that it can get warm during some more complex activities, but many phones behave this way, and after all, this processor is known for it. But do not worry, with everyday ordinary use, there is no chance it will behave "unexpectedly". Processor, speed of operation, stability, and smoothness of handling are at the highest level. The camera is excellent, design 11/10. The phone makes a stunning impression, and the truth is that the battery life is like any other :) I highly recommend it.

I have owned this phone for over a year and I can confidently say that it deserves to be called a flagship. The 120W charging beats all other models, I have had flagship iPhone models and for now I am staying with Android and this model. The phone works great during travel, I do not worry about running out of battery because a short break is enough and the phone is fully charged again. 8k videos and photos in great quality. The only thing I can complain about if I must is the curved screen on the sides, but that is a forced criticism, it does not bother me but if it were flat it would be better for screen protection with glass.

The best 12 in my opinion. The cameras are excellent, 3x 50Mpx of good quality is worth more than 108Mpx... Speakers are not as loud as in the 11T Pro, but the sound quality is better... Such a compromise... The screen is perfect for me, the in-screen reader is reliable. The battery could be a bit better... I do not know why for several advantages they always have to add something as a disadvantage. Perhaps they do not want to create an ideal device. For me, the phone is a positive choice. The 12T has no possibility of comparison. I do not regret it :)

The phone is outstanding! The photos are exceptional, the sound is sublime, audiophiles will be extremely satisfied; it is the best-sounding phone I have ever had (it even surpasses the iPhone). The screen is excellent. 120 W charging should be standard in every phone. With the 2023 software, it does not overheat. I recommend it although it is not cheap, but quality products unfortunately must be expensive.

I have owned this phone since October last year and my opinion of it is very positive. I am most impressed by its screen; the 120 W charging is fine. The only thing is that the price of the mentioned phone is far too high. However, if someone can afford it, I highly recommend it.
