An extremely humble press release is limited to emphasize innovation, design and specifications of the tablet Galaxy Tab 3, and to provide technical data. Doesn’t Samsung attach importance to the launch?
The fact is that the Galaxy Tab 3 has a slightly thinner casing than the predecessor, is based on a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, will be sold in versions with 8 or 16 GB of internal memory with a set of 3 + 1.3 megapixels cameras. The operating system is Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and in a slot for external memory there can be placed a card up to 64 GB.

Besides the two memory versions, Samsung also offers two versions with different communication interfaces, which multiplies the number of Galaxy Tab 3 tablet to four variants. 2G + 3G version will handle EDGE / GPRS 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, and HSPA+ 21/5,76 Mbit / s, 850/900/1900/2100 MHz. It is about 4 grams heavier than the WiFi version and it was enriched with the proximity sensor. It is not known when there will be a global market launch. Instead, we know that Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 WiFi should appear in stores in late May and early June. The detailed date shall be given by the local branches of the manufacturer.
