A few days ago, there appeared the first unofficial information about the LG G Flex smartphone. Today it is time for the official launch - of course in Korea.
LG G Flex is unfortunately not the first curved smartphone in the world - here the undisputed leader is Samsung. LG, however, is curved in a different manner than a competitor. That one is curved along the shorter side, and LG curved its phone on the long side. If the curved screen made too little impression on someone, the smartphone has one more interesting feature: the back was covered with paint that has the ability to repair itself. This means that minor scratches of the housing will disappear after some time.
In Flex there are also the volume keys on the rear of the casing - as in G2 - the curved OLED display measures 6 inches and has a resolution of 720p . At the moment, it is the largest mass- produced display in p-OLED technology, Plastic OLED. LG G Flex is based on the 2.26 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 800 processor supported by 2 GB of RAM and Adreno 330 graphics, 450 MHz. The equipment also has a 13-megapixel camera with LED, and a special, flexible battery with a capacity of 3500 mAh, developed by LG Chem.

Flex has also several other well-known solutions from the model G2. The smartphone features, such as KnockON, Guest Mode which gives limited access to the functions set by the owner of the phone, as well as the ability to read music files 24–bit/192kHz. The interface allows you to run two applications in separate windows, there was added a special screen animation which uses its curved shape. LG G Flex hits the market with Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2, but unfortunately, we don't know the price of the device yet.
