Have you heard of the golden HTC One? I bet you have. But do you know that it will be available in principle for everyone? What's the catch?
The catch is not the color, but the material, which it is covered with. In the "real" gold model, which was created in the amount of five pieces, we could talk about the 18-carat gold. HTC decided, however, to produce the golden variety for the poor - just covered with the golden varnish. And even though the manufacturer in their press release mentions stubbornly "champagne"color, I cannot get rid of intrusive thoughts that the only purpose of the appearance of this variety was to shoot a sale using the "legend" of the golden One. I'm not going to criticize HTC - after all, profit is the overriding goal of every manufacturer - but I'm afraid that this is the proverbial shot in the knee. Would you buy a phone that will notify all around the fact that you cannot afford real gold? And if you could, however, afford – would you buy a real golden telephone, but the same as "normal", lying on the shelf of the electromarket? To be sure I will add that technically both gold One versions do not differ from the original...
