We know more and more about the successor of HTC One. Even before the MWC there appeared the preliminary data and good renderings showing the alleged appearance of a smartphone hidden under the codename M8. Now we also have a video, authenticity of which has quite a surprising confirmation.
A 12 - minute video was posted on YouTube by a teenage Roshan Jamkatel. The young Indian in his amateur clip quite accurately presents us with the phone, the appearance of which corresponds to the earlier leaks. It seems that we see HTC M8, which is One 2014. How did the young man get a prototype? It is possible that he took a phone from some elder family member who works (or rather worked) in HTC. The authenticity of the film was confirmed in a rather unusual way. The author of the clip was threatened on Twitter by @urbanstrata, Jeff Gordon, Senior Global Online Communications Manager at HTC. Terrified by possible consequences Roshan removed the video, but unfortunately it was too late – its copies are still circulating on the network - removed on a regular basis. We do not know if and what consequences HTC will extend to the boy, but Jeff Gordon's posts clearly show that we watched the real hardware. Of course - it could be one of many - perhaps even earlier - prototypes. This would explain the apparent stumbling of the interface on the film... This may still change, but the appearance of the new One probably will remain so, as we can see.

You Tube successively removes copies of the film, so I suggest watching it as soon as possible…
