"Slim" doesn't always mean with a slim housing

Samsung continues to clone models - this time the company has prepared something for customers in South America. The model name - Galaxy S3 Slim - sounds like fun. Unfortunately, the word "slim" does not refer to a slimmed-down housing but to the weaker specification...

The new model is in almost every aspect poorer than the original. It has a smaller screen with a weaker resolution (4.5-inch, 960x540 pixels and 245 ppi), also has a worse processor - quad core 1.2 GHz clock. Internal memory has decreased to 8 GB, and camera matrix to 5 megapixels. There remains fresh Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and unchanged capacity of memory (1 GB) and battery (2100 mAh). Despite the name, S3 Slim is a bit thicker than the "normal" Galaxy S3, although other dimensions are slightly smaller. The phone makes its debut in the Brazilian branch of Samsung, but also probably will visit other South American countries.
