Known mainly in Russia and India Micromax company releases two new smartphones with Windows Phone 8.1. Models Canvas Win W121 and Canvas Win W092 are supposed to tempt us mainly with their low price. Although they will be cheap, they should not be ashamed of their specifications.
Both models are powered by a quad-core Qualcommm Snapdragon 200 1.2 GHz CPU, supported with a 1 GB of RAM. Knowing that Windows has a low demand for computing resources, we can expect that this combination will be sufficient enough for the interface and applications to run smoothly. Canvas Win W092 costs around 80 EURO, but offers really decent possibilities. It has a 5-megapixel camera, a Dual-SIM mode and a front VGA camera and a 4-inch IPS WVGA display. The battery's capacity does not look so good (1500 mAh), and the same goes with the memory - only 8 GB. It is worth remembering that low-end smartphones often reach the shelves with similar batteries and only half as much memory...

The second of the models - Canvas Win W121 - is more expensive (115 EURO) but it offers a 5-inch 720p IPS display and has a bigger battery (2000 mAh) and better camera capabilities. It is equipped with an 8-megapixel camera and a front 2-megapixel camera. Other elements are identical as in the cheaper model. Both smartphones will be available in July, and until the end of the year Micromax is supposed to show a few more models with Windows on board. I hope that the attached photos present their actual appearance... I am bothered with one detail. Can you see which one?
