The Vivo Y6 smartphone family has expanded with another affordable model - Vivo Y6e. What does it offer?
The new Vivo Y6e, like other models in this family, is a budget smartphone with a large battery. This smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, typical for this class, supporting LPDDR4x and UFS 3.1 memory and virtual RAM. As mentioned, it's powered by a fairly large 6500 mAh battery for this class of device. It charges at only 15W, but offers reverse charging and is rated for 5 years of operation while maintaining 80% of its initial capacity. Unfortunately, the smartphone has a very budget-friendly display, measuring 6.74 inches and only HD+ resolution, albeit with a 120Hz refresh rate and a touchscreen up to 240Hz.

The cameras are just as budget-friendly as the rest. The front camera is 5-megapixel and the rear camera is 13-megapixel, both with an f/2.2 aperture and Full HD video. The smartphone also has a minijack, Dual SIM, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, and an infrared transmitter, but the version presented in China lacks NFC – but it's not necessary there. Android 16 with OriginOS 6 on top runs the operating system. The plastic casing is available in three colors, has a five-star SGS durability certificate, and measures 167.4 x 77.1 x 8.39 mm, with the entire phone weighing 209 g. Currently, only one variant is available, with 6+256 GB of storage, priced at 1599 yuan, or $240.
